The Shelburne Country Inn Bed and Breakfast

Room #2 features a stunning antique queen size canopy bed in rich dark wood. This room also enjoys a spacious private bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower unit, featuring old fashioned tile flooring. Décor was inspired by a recent trip to France by the Innkeepers.

Room #3 has a queen size bed and a large striking antique armoire with two small attached side bureaus which adds its elegance and taste to an already eminently graceful atmosphere. Pine furnishings and an Eric Wiegardt watercolor painting add the final touches to this homey room. The private bathroom features an antique clawfoot tub and shower unit.

Room #4 has a queen size bed and a private bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower unit. This room features lots of old growth wood that give it the feel of a ship Captain’s cabin. The stained glass piece that graces the West window brings color and life to this warm room. It also enjoys a lovely shared deck with room #10.

Room #5 has one queen bed and one twin alcove bed. The alcove bed is a full size twin bed set into the wall low to the ground, and is lots of fun and very popular with children and young people. This room features hand stenciled walls and a separate sitting room outside the private bathroom which features an antique clawfoot tub with handheld shower unit and beautiful etched glass panels depicting pacific north west scenes dividing it from the sitting room.

Room #6 has one queen bed and one twin alcove bed. The alcove bed is a full size twin bed set into the wall low to the ground, and is lots of fun and very popular with children and young people. This room features hand stenciled walls and 19th century European pine furnishings which evoke the charm of the 19th century Swedish painter, Carl Larsson. This room enjoys a third floor private access to our parking lot on the north side of the building. The bedroom is quite roomy and has a private bathroom with a tiled shower.

Room #8 has a queen bed on a lovely antique frame. Stained glass double doors lead to a spacious shared deck with room #1. This room’s private bathroom features a tiled shower. This room enjoys a warm glow that comforts and soothes after a long day enjoying our local wonders.

Suite #9 has a queen bed in a spacious room which features a glorious antique wardrobe for all your accoutrements. Separated from the bedroom by a precious antique leaded glass surround is a private sitting room which entices you to come sit, and relax with a good book or good conversation to let go and unwind. This suite features a large bathroom with hand tiled floor and etched glass windows wherein lies an antique clawfoot tub and shower unit. This room enjoys a private exterior balcony and access from the garden. Breakfast service available in room upon request.

Room #10 has a full sized bed in a cozy room, and features a lovely shared deck with room #4. This room has a private bathroom with a tiled shower.

Room #11 is an elegant cozy room with a half canopy full size bed and features a private deck and private bathroom with tiled shower. Decorated in rich natural colors it is a homey haven to escape from your every day.

Room #12 has a queen sized bed and features a hand tiled shower in the private bathroom. This room also enjoys a private balcony overlooking our herb and flower garden. This room is decorated in soothing greens and beautiful antiques including a spectacular stained glass window.

Room #14 has a queen sized bed and features a hand tiled shower in the private bathroom. This room enjoys a private balcony overlooking our herb and flower garden. This room is decorated in creams and burgundies with many valuable antiques including an eye catching stained glass partition above the bed. All these elements combine to create an elegant and homey room.

Room #15 features two beds and a lovely private bathroom. One queen and one standard sized twin. This room is decorated in creams and pinks and features plenty of windows as well as glass doors leading to the private balcony overlooking our herb and flower garden which ensures lots of light and air in this beautiful room.

Room #16 has a queen size bed and is one of our two rooms conveniently located on the first floor with access directly to our herb and flower garden from this rooms’ private deck. This is a handicapped accessible room. Private bathroom features an extra large double sized hand tiled shower. This room is decorated in classic cream and green with warm earthy tones. It also features a grand antique wardrobe, Tiffany style leaded glass bedside lamp and other classic touches.

Suite #17 has a queen size bed and is one of our two rooms conveniently located on the first floor with access directly to our herb and flower garden from this rooms’ private deck. This suite features a sitting area separate from the bedroom, private bathroom with claw foot tub and shower unit attached. This room also features an antique wardrobe as well as a supplemental closet in the entryway for any extra luggage. Breakfast service available in room upon request.

Room rates  do not include Washington State Sales Tax. All rates are subject to change without notice. Our rates are based upon double occupancy; each additional person, add $15, deduct $10 for single person.

We have a 10-day cancellation policy that applies to all rooms and all nights of your stay. If for any reason you must change your plans or cancel, please give us 10 days notice prior to the date of arrival in order not to be charged for the room or rooms.

For reservations of 3 or more rooms, the cancellation period may be extended beyond the 10-day period.

On some weekends and holidays throughout the year we have a 2 or 3-day minimum stay requirement. If we are not able to fulfill your request for a one or two-night stay, we will contact you.

Group Rate/Business Retreats

Discounted group and business retreat rates are available for lodging and dining off-season. Our meeting area can accommodate up to 30 people. We have lodging facilities for 15 people (single occupancy), 30 people (double occupancy) and 33 people (maximum occupancy). A Pacific Northwest power lunch can be catered during your meeting. Our warm, homey environment is a perfect setting for a meeting that is both relaxing and productive. Services include bottomless cups of coffee or tea and cookies at snack time. Office and AV equipment is available for a fee.
