This romantic getaway is just minutes away from downtown Gig Harbor and close to several major cities. Charming gardens and a duck pond with island gazebo highlight the Bear's Lair landscaping. The quiet, serene atmosphere provides an inviting and relaxing ambience, which is perfect for nature lovers, birdwatchers, honeymooners and those who are just seeking an opportunity to renew themselves. Inside the timber-frame home, you'll appreciate the intricate hand-crafted woodworking and many elegant touches that make this a B&B experience to always remember. The entire main house, Carriage House and grounds were designed and lovingly built by your hosts Giulio and Jenny Santori. The Bear's Lair is an upscale lodging accommodation that has your every comfort in mind.

Upon arrival guests are offered a sampling of our pannetone (Italian sweet bread) served in the cozy wood paneled Breakfast Bear Room. Throughout the day selected coffee, teas and homemade cakes, sweets and goodies are always available. And bears and people are always invited to curl up on one of the comfy leather couches with one of the many good books at hand or choose a video in the Bears Lair video library.

All room rates include a full gourmet Bear's Lair breakfast served in the Breakfast Bear Room in the main house or delivered to the Carriage House for guests staying there. Savor fresh roasted coffee along with the delicious Bear's Lair signature gourmet breakfast of freshest seasonal fruits and juices; luscious homemade muffins, breads and jams; and specialty main dishes such as pesto eggs, a vegetable fritatta, or various other mouthwatering possibilities--all made from farm fresh eggs (the farm is just up the road) and locally grown fresh vegetables. With advance notice special dietary needs can be accommodated.
