Almost Paradise is a world apart where you can relax, view a starlit night, and listen to the quiet. Or if you do hear something, it may be the hoot of an owl at dusk, the serenade of frogs croaking in the spring, the bugling of elk in the fall, the howling of coyotes at night, or the birds singing the advent of spring. The only year round open entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, Ashford, is just a short drive of less than three hours from almost any Northwest location. Almost Paradise Lodging is located approximately two miles off the main highway, which affords a very quiet and peaceful setting.
