  • Introduction

    Gay Street Inn

Our restored and updated 1850s farmhouse in the historic village of "Little Washington," Virginia, will welcome you to a relaxing stay in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set on the edge of town, with mature trees and views of the mountains from its half-acre, we are walking distance from the renowned restaurant of The Inn at Little Washington, and minutes from Shenandoah National Park, and all of the award-winning wineries, horseback riding and antique stores that scenic Rappahannock County has to offer.

Sun RoomYour day here begins between 8:30 and 9:30 with a home-cooked breakfast in our sunroom. The menu changes daily, but ranges from Grandma Rose's special buttermilk pancakes to cream cheese-stuffed French toast, smoked Virginia sausage, hams and bacon, fresh fruit, locally roasted coffee, teas and fresh juices.

A self-serve continental breakfast also is available between 7:30 and 10:30 featuring home-baked muffins or rolls, fresh fruit, and coffee and teas. We will gladly accommodate any special dietary needs with advance notice.

On your arrival, enjoy complimentary wine or another beverage while you settle in and explore the Inn.
