Fall colors are expected to last into November this year. So if you have been busy and couldn't get away for October colors, come stay with us in early November! You should still be able to catch the colors.

Everything is a crisp bright green this year& flowers are starting to bloom here on the mountain. So don't miss out our wonderful May atmosphere. The hummingbirds are beginning to nest but still have a few flying around.Come soon!

The first two of our many (100's) hummingbirds have returned home! Jeff had the honor of the first sighting on Wednesday morning! These scouts are obviously "ours" as they are feeding with boldness and not shy at all!!The mountain is turning green and the blooms are starting to peek out!

Hummingbirds have been sighted near the NC/VA border. They are on the way to Sugar Tree as fast as their little wings will fly!!

Exciting news!!! Hummingbirds have been sighted all along the Gulf Coastline! That is a good 1 - 2 weeks earlier than last year. Do our hummers know that Spring will be early this year?
