• Start your hiking adventures from your intimate Alpine Hideaway Cottage. Roam the Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail. Climb the Crabtree Falls, the tallest cascading falls east of the Mississippi. Continue your conversations with the Blue Ridge Mountains and with each other in your secluded deck hot tub. The songbirds and hummingbirds are visitors, but the Pond's Blue Herons love their solitude. Your complimentary backpack with bottled water, coffee mugs, fruit, trail mix, first aid kit and day hike maps will be waiting for you upon check in.
