Indulge yourselves with our in-room massages in the privacy of your cottage.  Leave the stress and thoughts of work behind with a full body massage.   Or relax and rejuvenate with a romantic massage for 2 in front of the fireplace or outside on your private deck.  It is a great way to start the day or a restful treatment after a busy day of hiking, antiquing, or wine tasting.  Then, afterwards, soak in your secluded outdoor hot tub.  

• Individual one hour massage:   $90.
• Couples special one hour massage:   $180.

Other spa treatments are available upon request.  Please try to order this service at the time of your reservation or prior to your arrival.  We require a 2 day notice for scheduling. 

Start your hiking adventures from your intimate Alpine Hideaway Cottage. Roam the Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail. Climb the Crabtree Falls, tallest cascading falls east of the Mississippi. Continue your conversations with the Blue Ridge Mountains and with each other in your secluded deck hot tub. The songbirds and hummingbirds are visitors, but the Pond's Blue Herons love their solitude. Your complimentary backpack with bottled water, 2 box lunch vouchers, fresh fruit, trail mix, and day hike maps will be waiting for you upon check in. The lunch vouchers are redeemed at Gerties Country Store (1 mile from the cottages on Route 56).  Each box lunch includes a choice of a freshly made sub sandwich (Turkey, Italian, or Veggie) and potato chips.

This package includes a beautiful selection of Johnson & Johnson products, a breakfast basket, a bottle of sparkling cider, a box of Godiva chocolates, and a pair of our coffee mugs for mom, dad, and a handmade gift for baby. Spend some alone time with your significant other, rest up and enjoy a good book by the fire, or paint the town red with a fun night out. You'll need it!

We have two different breakfast options at Alpine Hideaway:

1. Sleep in and wake up to a delicous continental breakfast basket delivered staright to your door. Basket includes: juice, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins or breakfast caked, homemade granola, and more! All for only $18!
2. Enjoy a hot breakfast at Steels Tavern Manor Bed & Breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. Price is $25 for 2 guests.
    

A romantic dinner for 2 in the comfort of your cottage.  A custom created menu consisting of either  3, 4, or 5 courses that is created by you with the help of a personal chef service.  Your dinner is prepared by your personal chef and served to you on a table dressed with linens, china, candles, and fresh flowers. Dine romantically in front of the fireplace.  A keepsake menu is provided to retain those wonderful memories of your special evening.

• 3 course meal at only $199
• 4 course meal at only $249
• 5 course meal at only $299

Alcoholic beverages and tip are not included in the price.  

When you select this option, please provide the day and time you would like your dinner to be scheduled and also the number of courses you would like. Your reservation is based on the chef's availability. If you are flexible in your dinner date, please provide multiple days. 

Be your own chef! Alpine Hideaway will provide all the products ready to prepare your dinner. Your dinner package will be waiting in your cottage when you arrive. Have fun grilling your steaks together on our gas grills to your personal liking and prepare the other dinner items with little effort. Then relax to a quiet dinner together without the hassle of driving to a restaurant. Our meat is purchased locally from Buffalo Creek Farm in Lexington. This family farm has been raising beef cattle for over 100 years. Their cattle are fed a custom mixture of farm grown silage, brewers grain, and pelleted corn which produces beef that is subtly marbled and extremely tasty.

Your dinner package priced at $34.99 includes:

• Two 8-oz Ribeye Steaks
• Two Potatoes ready to be baked
• Fresh Salad Mix with choice of Italian and Ranch dressings
• Baguettes that are pre-baked allowing you to pop them into the oven for that freshly baked taste
• Dessert for 2.

Add a bottle of wine to this package for $15.  Our local winery, Rockbridge Vineyard, has a wonderful red wine that we would recommend for this dinner. But you have a choice of red or white.

If you prefer chicken, we can substitute a boneless chicken breast. Just let us know. Bon Appetit!
