Anne Hathaway's Cottage Bed and Breakfast
Juliet’s Room
This second-floor room is a dreamy spot with its old rose accents and purple-edged crewel comforter. It has a lovely canopy queen bed, air conditioning, flat screen TV, phone, free WiFi and cable. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower and faces the rear of the property for added quietness. Extra amenities include bottled water, robes, poetry books, a desk and a beautiful Pakistani Pak Bokhara hand-knotted rug.
This room holds an embroidered picture, created by Juliette’s mother in the 1920s when she was a teenager. Also there is an unusual puzzle of Anne Hathaway’s cottage on the wall, probably vintage 1950s. A linenfold cabinet on the wall between the diamond paned windows is typical of the 1600s, as is the crewel comforter. Two very old diamond paned windows complete the scene.
Two-Night Minimums on weekends March – October + holiday weekends Jan and Feb. One night stays released Thursday before the upcoming weekend.

Romeo’s Room
This second-floor room has a large four poster queen bed and faces the gardens. Lying in bed you gaze out through old diamond-paned windows at the front gardens. Supplied with air conditioning, flat screen TV, cable, free WiFi, phone and a private bath with shower, it offers a cozy night’s stay. His and Hers robes, bottled water, ice bucket, wine glasses and alarm clock.
The Red play bills on the wall are from the 1960s from the Theatre in Stratford-on-Avon of various of Shakespeare’s plays. Look for a famous actor on one of them. Between the windows is an oil painting of a lake in Northern Ireland by Juliette’s father and behind the bed, large brass plaques.Romeo's Room
In winter the heavier comforter is used and in warmer weather the crewel one. Crewel’s history is hard to find but it was popular in 16th century England – as a bed covering of course!

William’s Room
Located on the first floor, this room faces south and has a private patio with a table and chairs. A queen bed, phone and Flat screen cable TV make for a comfy room. The private bath has a tub with shower. Robes are in the wardrobe, extra pillows and blankets too. A small fire and rattan chairs make a cozy spot to sit inside.
An ice bucket and wine glasses are on hand for those celebrating. An overhead fan is nice when you don’t need air conditioning yet. The house is fully air conditioned. The door near the bed opens out onto the patio. A beautiful English brass rubbing is on one wall and examples of 1920′s pyrography wooden pictures on each side of the bed. Policies
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please let us know by 6 pm, 10 days ahead and you will only be charged $25. If it is less time than that, we will gladly give you a refund if we rebook your room. If it is less than 10 days, then the full amount for each night booked will be charged.
- Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. Regardless of the reason, we will charge a $25 processing fee for any and all cancellations.
- On holiday weekends we have a 14-day cancellation notice.
- Special events, for which all rooms are reserved, also require 14-day cancellation notice.
- If you want to email us to cancel please ask for a return email to be sure we received it!
- CHECK-IN: 3:30 pm – 6 pm, or later by appointment.
- CHECKOUT: 11 am.
- WE ARE A NO-SMOKING FACILITY – INSIDE AND OUT
- Children over 10 and pets can be accommodated. We do NOT have roll-away beds and only take 2 people per room. An additional charge of $15 is added for one dog. Two dogs max with an additional charge of $10 per dog per night. Please note we have 3 cats on the property.
