“If you are looking for historic comfortable accommodations where you can have a roaring fire and gourmet breakfast delivered in wicker baskets, stay here! We also hired a guide who was quite the scholar and gave a fantastic tour of Spotsylvania Courthouse battlefield. Great place for family of 4 is the Log Cabin! Will plan to stay here again.” Reviewed on tripadvisor.com on March 18, 2016
"This was our 3rd visit to Stevenson Ridge and each experience was uniquely different. Can't really say which "home" was our favorite ... they all had the common thread of romance, comfort and a relaxing atmosphere. The perfect getaway, an absolute must if your life is hectic and at a fast pace. The monent you arrive you'll leave your "real life" at the gate. We can't wait for our next visit!!" “Stevenson Ridge was the ideal location for our wedding. After having visited a handful of other venues, we finally scheduled an appointment to come take a look at Stevenson Ridge. It was love at first sight. The entire location including the Reception venue, pond, grounds, cabins and mansion were straight out of a fairytale. We ended booking with them as soon as the tour was over. Elizabeth was everything we could have asked for and more. She was there with us from the moment we toured the venue through the wedding night departure. I honestly couldn't imagine having gone through the process of planning the wedding without her. Her attention to detail and ultimate goal of making sure I was 100% happy was obvious from the beginning. She was always SUPER flexible with any time issues or details that needed to be tended to. I HIGHLY recommend Stevenson Ridge to any bride looking for a beautiful venue and attentive staff. You won't regret it!” Reviewed on WeddingWire.com, got married on October 24, 2015
“We spent Memorial Day weekend in the Post Office. I love the way most of the cabins are separated, so you feel alone in the woods. We watched a wedding from our porch and enjoyed a quiet weekend in our own spot. With a microwave and refrigerator, we could be completely self contained and enjoy life at our own pace.” Reviewed on BedandBreakfast.com on June 7, 2015
“Great place to stay for our visit to tour the Civil War battlefields. Beautiful setting inside and out. The "Civil War House" was so quaint and beautifully appointed. Clean as a whistle too. Pictures don't do it justice Plenty of acreage to roam and walk in the woods. Hostess very accommodating. Actual Civil War trenches on the property just added to the adventure. Highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.” Reviewed on BedandBreakfast.com on January 2, 2015
