Grace Manor Inn

Each of the four suites at the Grace Manor Inn is unique. They are luxuriously appointed guest suites, which have private baths and large private sitting rooms. Each is painted in a warm, rich color with authentic heart of pine wood floors.

This chamber, which is the largest and grandest at the Grace Manor Inn, has stunning red walls and is decorated in warm red and gold fabrics. It has a queen-sized, flame mahogany bedroom set from the early 1900's, which gives the impression of stepping back in time. Even so, there is still a television set squirreled away in the original steamer trunk closet above the large dressing closet for those who like to enjoy modern amenities.

The beautiful and spacious sitting room, which connects to the bedroom, has a Victorian sofa, chairs, and a desk. It also showcases a 'wall of art' featuring a collection of period-style paintings in gold-gilded frames.

This suite is dedicated to our dearest friends, Lolli Fensterer and Tim Davis, who are the most gracious, generous, and hospitable people we know.

This suite has pale pink walls and is decorated in rich pink and sage green fabrics. It has a queen-sized cherry bedroom set with French antique night stands adorning each side of the bed, as well as a small French desk and two carved antique rosewood chairs. An ornately carved cornice hangs on the wall behind the bed and is decorated with textured, flowing fabric.

This suite is dedicated to William and Louise Zimmermann who originally dreamed up this magnificent home.

This chamber has gold walls and is decorated in rich blue and gold fabrics. It has a queen-sized bedroom set with a custom headboard draped with blue sheers hanging from a bed crown. It also has a claw foot lady's dresser, which can be used as a desk for business travelers. It conveniently connects to a private sitting room with a comfortable sofa and overstuffed chair, as well as a television. This suite has a small, modern bathroom with a shower.

This suite is dedicated to Tom and Patty Shortt, who lovingly restored this home to its original grandeur.

The Carriage House

Originally, the first floor of this dependency served as the Carriage House for the horse and buggy, with the sleeping quarters for the carriage driver located on the second floor. The second floor apartment has now been renovated and offers guests a secluded place to relax and unwind. The Carriage House is located on the same property as the Grace Manor Inn, but is decorated in a more contemporary style with blonde wooden floors, brightly painted walls and modern furniture. Its large, turquoise bedroom is appointed with a queen-sized, platform bed, a desk with Internet access, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a television. This suite also includes a high-quality, twin-sized rollaway bed, which enables a third guest to stay in this suite for an additional $35 per night. The bathroom has an original claw foot tub with a shower ring attached above.

The brightly painted yellow living room has a comfortable red suede sofa, chair, bamboo coffee table and television. It also features custom light fixtures on each end of the sofa for those who enjoy reading. The dining room is painted red to induce appetite, heart rate, passion and energy. However, you won't need much motivation, as the restaurants in the surrounding Fan Neighborhood are incredible! The Carriage House also has a small kitchen with a gas stove, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. It comes fully equipped with cookware and dishes for those who like to dine in occasionally.

The balcony located just outside of the front door has a small wrought iron table and chairs overlooking the gardens. This is a lovely spot for an early morning beverage. Breakfast is served in the main house just a few steps away. And of course, the Carriage House does include the same amenities as all of our other suites.

• Rates: $150 - $225 per night with a two-night minimum stay Fri - Sat.
• We accept single night reservations Sun - Thurs.
• We also offer Corporate Rates for business travelers.
• Smoking is permitted on porch areas only.
• We do not accept guest pets for the comfort of future guests in your room. We will be happy to recommend a local place for you to board your pets.
• We have 3 resident Yorkies. For those with allergies, please note that Yorkshire Terriers are considered allergy-free due to their lack of shedding and dander.
• The Inn is not suitable for children under 17.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
• Check-In Time: Monday - Sunday 3:00 p.m. or by appointment. If earlier or later arrival time is anticipated, please let us know.
• Checkout Time: 11:00 a.m. (Unless previous arrangements are made)
• We will be serving you a multi-course, gourmet breakfast each morning of your visit. Please advise us of any allergies, or special requests.
• Cancellation Policy: Payment is refunded, less a $25 deposit, if cancellation is received 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. (Holidays and local special events dates require 30 days notice for cancellation. When the entire Inn is rented for one party, 60 days notice is required.) No-shows, early checkouts or less than the above notices will result in full charge of your scheduled stay, unless we are able to rebook the suite for those dates.
