The view from the front of the house is the most dramatic; honeymooners always choose the Kensington so that they may luxuriate in the Jacuzzi with a glass of champagne while watching the spectacular sunset. Tiger Lily is decorated with warm colors and the mystery of India.  It houses the majority of our elephant collection, most with their trunks pointing upwards for good luck. This deluxe suite decorated in English Raj has a king-size bed with a pillow top mattress, marble topped dresser and nightstand, chaise for lounging with your favorite book, a love seat and a 2 person whirlpool tub with shower. In the late 19th Century when this home was expanded, our ancestors were fascinated by the exotic East. This oriental paradise is decorated with various paintings and carvings brought back from China. It comes with a queen bed and an antique clawfooted tub with shower....  just steps from the serene back porch of our bed and breakfast with quaint garden views.

This large, deluxe suite is adorned in French Provincial styles. It features a separate sitting room alcove as well as breathtaking views from a magnificent balcony. The alcove is furnished with a day bed overflowing with pillows, which creates a perfect spot for reading or a private place for a third person to sleep. This bed and breakfast suite, just minutes from Charlottesville and Wintergreen Resort, includes an antique king-sized bed and a shower. This suite has a flat screen TV with Satellite, DVD player, free movies and XM radio.

Two recliners help the weary to relax, as does the access to the balcony porch with magnificent views. Also, The Colonel is furnished with a queen-sized brass bed, a unique Murphy bed, a sitting area, and a large 2 person tub with shower. This room has a flat screen TV with Satellite, free movies and XM radio. One of my favorite rooms in our Nellysford bed and breakfast!

With a wonderful view of our Wedding Peristyle and Wintergreen Mountain, Le Jardin is the perfect setting to get in touch with your verdant nature. This room features a large sitting area with a handcrafted headboard trellis that grows on you and hand stenciling that puts beautiful garden flowers close at hand to assure sweet dreams. It comes equipped with two twin beds (which can be converted to a very comfortable king-size bed), a sofa bed, and antique clawfooted tub with shower. This bed and breakfast room, just minutes from charlottesville, has a flat screen TV with Satellite, free movies and XM radio.

Soft pale yellows and blues adorn this quaint French Countryside room.  Inspired by Impressionist art, the room features original reproduction work of Claude Monet (Think Water Lilies, Giverney and Sunflowers).  This guestroom has pale yellow walls with blue and white trim; staying here is like taking a journey to 1900 France. It comes with a queen bed and a large two-person shower in our VA bed and breakfast near Charlottesville.

Mary Virginia is adorned with early 19th century Frencht Victorian. The Victorian charm in the VA bed and breakfast, just minutes from Charlottesville and Wintergreen resort, is enhanced by a beautiful high queen size bed, marble topped dresser and nightstand,  a sitting area, and a large two-person shower.  In this guest room you will feel like Royalty!

• Rates based on double occupancy range from $99 to $229 per night, tax and gratuity not included. Special weekday rates are often available - visit our website for details. Additional person in room is $25.

• Sunday-Thursday Rate/Friday, Saturday and Holiday Rate
• The Colonel, Mary Virginia, and Elena do not have connecting interior doors, but are connected by mutual access to their private balcony.
• All rates include a bountiful breakfast.
• Gift certificates and individual arrangements are available.
• Check-in time is from 3 to 7 p.m.
• Check-out time is 11 a.m.
• Smoking areas available only on porches
• Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.
• We welcome children four (4) and older. Younger children may be accepted with prior approval. Parents or their designee are responsible for supervising their children. We do not have cribs or high chairs. Babysitting services may be arranged with advance notice.

Deposit: As with most country inns, it is our policy to request an advance deposit of 50% or one night's lodging, whichever is greater, to guarantee your reservation. Deposits may be made by personal check or credit card. Deposits made by check must be received within 10 days after reservation is made. If your deposit is not received within 10 days, your reservation will be cancelled. Please check your confirmation carefully. Note if we have recorded the correct arrival and departure dates. The deposit will be forfeited if you arrive after or depart before the specified dates.

Cancellation and Refunds: There is a $25.00 service fee for cancellations made 14 days before your arrival time. The balance of your deposit will be refunded. If a cancellation is made during the 14 days before your arrival time, the entire cost of your stay is due unless we are able to rebook your room. If we are able to rebook your room we will be happy to apply your deposit to a future visit (within one year, based on availability) to The Mark Addy.
