The Bull Barn
The stand-alone Bull Barn Suite is our most private and comfortable guest accommodation. The bedroom contains a king-size sleigh bed and is adjacent to a two-part, library sitting area with vaulted ceilings composed of rough-hewn wooden beams and a wood-burning fireplace. The Bull Barn’s lavish bathroom features dual copper sinks, a whirlpool tub with picture window, and sit-down, multi-jetted steam shower. The heated, ceramic-tile flooring will embrace you with welcome warmth on a cool day. In the renovation, the original bullpen ironworks were preserved to provide guests with a reminder of the barn’s original purpose.

Policies
- All room rates are subject to state and local taxes of 10%. Weekend rates include holidays. Room rates are subject to change and blackout dates may apply during holiday and special event periods. Advance room reservations are necessary, minimum length of stay may be required.
- Goodstone guests enjoy the following complimentary services and amenities: Mountain Biking, Hiking Trails, Year-round Hot Tub, Afternoon Refreshment, Shuffleboard, Canoeing, Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool, Concierge Services, Full Country Breakfast, Soft Drinks and Mineral Waters
- Guests may request à la carte services at Goodstone or nearby venues including:
- Trail Riding, Shenandoah River Rafting, Civil War Site Tours, Massage Therapy, Spa Facial treatments, Virginia Winery Tours, Picnic Lunches
- RESERVATIONS: Reservations are required. To make a reservation, please contact us online at www.goodstone.com or by telephone at 877.219.4663. (Goodstone office hours are 8:00am – 6:00pm EST daily.)
- DEPOSITS: An advance deposit, which is equal to the amount of the first night’s stay, is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due upon departure by check, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. For guests renting the Goodstone estate, full payment of the projected rental is required in advance.
- CANCELLATIONS: Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation allows us limited opportunity of re-selling our guestrooms. For this reason, we must impose a strict cancellation policy. For single room reservations, your deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, no refund is possible. If a cancellation is required for multiple room reservations or for the entire Goodstone estate six months before the arrival, the full deposit will be refunded. If a cancellation is required four to six months before the arrival, 50% of the deposit will be charged for the cancellation fee. If a cancellation is required less than four months before the arrival, 100% of the deposit will be charged for the cancellation fee.
- CHILDREN: Children over the age of 10 are always welcome at Goodstone. Our guests come to relax in the peace and serenity offered at Goodstone. Exceptions may be made when the entire estate is reserved.
- PETS: In deference to our other guests, pets are not allowed at Goodstone Inn & Restaurant, but we can refer you to a local kennel during your stay.
- ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES: Check-in time begins at 3:00pm. Checkout time is 11:30am.
- SMOKING: Please refrain from smoking in any of the buildings. However, guests are welcome to smoke in designated exterior areas.
