This is our most popular and largest room in the mansion.  This would have been the owner's chamber (master bedroom) when the Watts family lived here.

The oversized tub is extra long and deep and the faucet is in the center of the tub so the tub can accommodate two individuals. This room is ideal for the romantic weekend, Valentine's Day or for any special occasion.

This room is often booked with the Stephen H. Watts Room (directly across the hall). This is ideal for parents bringing their child to one of our colleges/universities so that each can have a private room (sharing the hall bath between the rooms). This is also ideal for two professionals traveling together.  Note, the bath is a private bath for your use only unless you also reserve the Stephen H. Watts Room.

Prices may be higher on event weekends (such as graduation weekend) and certain event weekends require a multiple night stay.

There is access to the hall bath with the original pedestal tub

Special: Book the Mary F. Watts Room and the Stephen H Watts Room (sharing the bath between the two rooms) and receive a 25% discount on the Stephen H. Watts Room (2 night minimum required to receive this discount).

Note:  Because this is a double bed with a footboard, we do not recommend this bed for a person over 5' 7"  This room is the most accurate representation of a bedroom during the time the Watts family lived here. 

• Check-in time is between 4 and 6 pm, other times can be arranged with prior notice.
• Check out time is 11 am
• Double Occupancy only in rooms in the mansion.  There is a charge of $35.00 per person/per night for extra persons (over two) on rooms in the Carriage House.
• We regret we cannot accommodate pets; however we will assist you in making arrangements with a local kennel
• We are an entirely smoke-free bed and breakfast establishment. There are benches in the park across the street for guests wanting to smoke.
• Supervised young adults 14 and older are welcome
• Reservations are guaranteed only upon receipt of a deposit equal to the first night's stay or 50% of your total reservation, whichever is greater, and is applied to the last night of your reservation.
• Early departure will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
• The deposit must be received within seven days of confirmation to avoid cancellation. You will receive written confirmation of your reservation.
• Certain weekends and holidays require a 2-night minimum stay and advance payment in full.
• All Monday holidays as well as New Years Eve and New Years Day, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be priced as a weekend.
• College Graduation will require a minimum three night stay.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation please call us at least 15 days prior to your arrival for a full refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.
  • Guests canceling less than 15 days will be charged the full amount of the anticipated stay unless the room is re-booked, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
  • No-show and same day cancellations will be charged for the entire stay.
  • Guests booking more than one room will be required to give a 30 day notice of cancellation.
  • Certain event weekends such as college graduations are non-refundable and advance payment for the room(s)..
  • Cancellations are accepted over the phone. E-mail and faxed messages are NOT sufficient to cancel a reservation.
• Payment in full is required at time of your arrival.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, traveler's checks, personal checks or cash.
• Corporate Discounts: Available to the business traveler Sunday through Thursday, call for details.

Rates from $800 per night

• We offer special rates for weddings/conferences/reunions/girls weekend, etc.
• When reserving all 4 guestrooms with a maximum number of 8 guests you also receive the use of public areas (front porch, yard, guest parlor, and dining room).
• Costs start at $800 per day with a two-day minimum.
• Our legendary breakfast is included each morning
• We offer catering services (additional charge) for other food options
