Located in the town of Luray, The French Country Cottage offers guests two well appointed Deluxe Luxury Suites, The Toile Suite and The Provencal, in a charming renovated Farmhouse sheltered by 150 year old shades trees. The French Country Cottage Suites are decorated with a touch of old France and equipped with modern amenities such as spacious rooms, Kitchenettes (with mini-sink, hotel refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishware/ glassware), plush Pillow Top Queen Beds, deep Whirlpool Soaking Tubs, Flat Screen TV's, Wireless Internet, and large private decks. The Woodruff House, located in Luray, VA, is the original bed and breakfast to Woodruff Inns and Shenandoah River Escapes. Guests are instantly charmed by the romantic ambiance of this French Country Victorian. From the elegant ladies parlor and gentlemen's drawing room, to the rustic beauty of the Rooftop Suite, The Woodruff House has a cozy elegance that can't be found anywhere but at this Shenandoah Valley getaway. In addition to our very private and romantic Rooftop Suite, The Woodruff House offers guests a choice of three Executive Rooms (The Johnson Room, Leisure Room, and Dorothy's Loft); each one with its own distinct personality. As the Hawksbill Creek meanders by on its way to meet the Shenandoah River, you'll find Luray's picturesque Greenway and our Along the Creek Inn. This unique house is divided into two fully furnished one bedroom apartments. Perfect for a long getaway or for use while in the area on extended business, these apartments offer full sized eat in kitchens with all major appliances, spacious living rooms, full baths, and private entrances. The Victorian Inn Restaurant will spoil your taste buds with delectable, freshly prepared breakfasts, tempting appetizers, and savory entrée. Our ever changing Three Course Prix Fixe Menus are kept exciting by changing every two to three weeks in order to offer you the freshest ingredients available at that point in the season. Our chef prepares all fare in house in order to assure the best quality and flavor possible. Our Prix Menus feature offerings such as the tantalizing Autumn Berry Duck, Margarita Chicken, Chateux Briand with Avocado Bearnaise, Pan Seared Scallops with Tarragon White Wine Butter, and Garden Vegetable Napoleon on Grilled Polenta Cakes... just to name a few. Children are welcome join us and enjoy pizza, grilled chicken, and burgers all with Chef's Choice of side. The dining experience at The Victorian Inn and Restaurant continues with the Dessert presentation tray. Since most all of our desserts are made in house, the selection changes weekly if not daily. Offering options that coordinate well with our Seasonal Fare, our guests find our desserts to be the perfect complement to an amazingly superb meal.

• Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings.
• Pets are not permitted in any of our buildings or accommodations.
• Certain Holiday and High Season Weekends may carry a two night minimum requirement.
• All reservations will be charged a deposit amount of one night's stay with taxes.
• Cancellation of reservation will result in a $25.00 cancellation fee. Should cancellation be necessary 7 days or less prior to your arrival, 50% of the total deposit paid will be forfeited. We encourage our guests who have an unexpected change of plans to call us in order that we may assist you in changing the date of your stay as no penalty is incurred for this change.
