Wine Tour Package
Enjoy a carefree Chauffered tour of 4 local wineries with special treatment. Learn all about local wine history and what makes Virginia wine sought after by wine conniseurs around the world.

 $90 Weekend, $72 Midweek per person package add-on to standard room rates

• Don't have a designated driver? Let us do the driving for you.
• Available for guests of the Orchard House or Apple Blossom with a two night stay minimum.
• Small Groups: 6 or less welcome
• Monday - Saturday, Tour on second day.
• Weekend Rates: Friday, Saturday and Holiday's
• Experienced Viticulturist Chauffeur
• Stops at 4 Wineries (not 3 like others), about 5 hours

A relaxing two night stay and a leisurely tour of 4 local wineries with the safety and security of an experienced driver, knowledgeable Viticulturist and winery guide. The Orchard House provides you with the best price and added amenities to provide a Virginia Wine Tour experience you will not forget.

• After an incredible breakfast at the Orchard House enjoy a brief class on: "How to taste and find your favorite wine."
• You will depart and head directly to the first winery; no stops to pick up others. You'll have more time at each winery to take in all they have to offer and will enjoy a picnic lunch (included) at your leisure.  We will return to the Orchard House between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.
• Your chauffeur is Richard, the Innkeeper and owner of the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. Also, as a vineyard owner, he will gladly chat about everything from planting to harvest, or if you like, the rich history of the Orchard House, built in 1874.
• Feel free to ask the wine-makers and/or staff any questions you like.
• Learn the history of Virginia wine-making and recent trends making Virginia a favorite choice among wine lovers.
• Special "behind the scenes" tour are included, when available.
• A CD will be provided FREE of charge before you check out of your touring experience.
• We will have chilled bottle water and light snacks available for your convenience.
• Tasting fees and wine purchases not included.

Package Includes:
...bring someone you enjoy scrapbooking or quilting with and have use of our private craft room. Located on the second floor near your room, you'll have access to your own private area 24 hours a day to catch up on all your projects. Two 6-foot tables and 12-feet of counter space, more than adequate lighting and comfortable surroundings for just the two of you.
