Lackawanna Bed and Breakfast

The J. Webster is our newest room. It is located across the hall from the Rose Room. It also faces the South and overlooks the Shenandoah River. This room offers a cozy seating area for two which includes a tv/vcr and stereo c/d player. A floor to ceiling window offers a generous view of the West Lawn. This room features an in-room bath with a large walk in shower complete with two shower heads and (as in all our rooms) plenty of hot water. A comfortable four poster bed completes the decor.

The Rose Room takes its name from the Rose Wallpaper. This lovely room faces South and overlooks the Shenandoah River and includes a floor to ceiling window which baths the room with outdoor light during the day. This quiet suite is nestled in the back of the house and the bedroom overlooks the West Lawn. The Charles Suite bedroom has a generous seating area for reading or listening to music on the stereo/cd player or watching tv. Furnished with antiques, this room has a comfortable queen size sleigh bed with ample reading light on each side and facing a tv/vcr for in-bed viewing.
 
There is also a separate room with comfortable furnishings and a tv to use as a sitting room. There is a futon which can be opened to sleep two additional people.

The large private bath for this suite is just outside the door next to the sitting room. The bath is spacious and contains a generous claw foot tub excellent for soaking, as well as a shower. Terry cloth robes are provided in the room for that short step outside.
