Come to the Richard Johnston Inn in Old Towne Fredericksburg for a unique, upscale 18th century inn.The Inn was constructed by John Taylow, architect, and one of the original signers of The Declaration of Independence. In the 1800's it served as the home of the Mayor of Fredericksburg, Richard Johnston The Richard Johnston Inn still reflects the charm and grace of a past era, while providing all of the amenities of today for the comfort of our guests. We have a laptop computer and printer in our living room for our guests to access their emails, boarding passes, etc.

The city of Fredericksburg has over two hundred years of our nation's history, beginning with George Washington's boyhood home, Ferry Farm, which is located just across the Rappahannock River. As you continue through town there are historic homes and museums to explore as well as the Fredericksburg Battlefield, Confederate Cemetery, churches, and many other interesting sites. Among these are local wineries.

We offer you the flexibility of having your event when you want it at an historic property with affordable pricing and personal service. Relax with family and friends in our common areas or outside in our courtyard, which comfortably seats 40 - 50 guests. Courtyard weddings may be booked from May – October 15th. We can accommodate 30 – 40 guests inside at The Richard Johnston Inn.
The Richard Johnston Inn and The 1890 Caroline House are historic properties located in the heart of Fredericksburg, Virginia for intimate weddings and small events. Pricing includes the rental of all 12 rooms with double occupancy, use of the courtyard and Inn (not including the kitchen) from 5 p.m. Friday evening until 11 a.m. Sunday. Please call Bonnie L. De Lelys to make an appointment and discuss your special day.
A full breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. – 9a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

and a large private parking area behind the InnThe Richard Johnston understands you have a corporate budget. We offer our business travelers a 10% corporate discount based on single occupancy Sunday through Thursday evenings with arrangements for late arrivals and early departures.
We are located just minutes from I-95 in the heart of Historic Fredericksburg and within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shops.
Business Travelers Amenities: We have installed high speed Internet access in all guest suites along with a multi- purpose plug and have a laptop computer with a printer you can use in our living room. A copier and fax are also available. We also offer "On Site Meeting" specials for corporate meetings

Take exit 130A and get into the left lane of traffic to William Street.
