The Inn and Cottages at Orchard Gap

The Inn at Orchard Gap was designed and built in the style of a traditional Colonial Virginia Inn. The views from the upper and lower porches are absolutely incredible! Relax in a rocking chair and enjoy the refreshing mountain air and countryside views, as well as the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge area. You will never forget the pleasure you'll have from just sitting and enjoying the company of your loved one, or even the fun of quietly rocking while reading a good book!

The Inn at Orchard Gap's common rooms feature a quaint Americana theme. Two dining tables, comfortable couches, TV and movies can all be enjoyed during the hearty breakfast, or at any time! Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 - 10:00 and can also be enjoyed on the covered porches, weather permitting.

The Inn at Orchard Gap features four guest rooms that can accommodate one to two people. All rooms have outside entrances, private baths, queen beds, TV/VCRs, in-room microwaves, small refrigerators, coffeemakers with coffee and condiments, and individually controlled heat and A/C. The three upstairs guest rooms have gas fireplaces and open onto a large covered porch with rockers. All rooms have recently been remodeled and have wide-plank hardwood floors and comfortable sitting/reading areas and are furnished in a traditional style with antiques or reproduction pieces.

Two cozy and comfortable cottages were added in 1999 to provide guests a bit of extra privacy. Decorated in a country cottage theme, each has hardwood floors, queen bed, gas fireplace, TV/VCR and stereo. The kitchenette in each cottage is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and all items necessary for limited food preparation and serving. A full size sleeper futon allows each cottage to accommodate more than two people. The Birdhouse Cottage has a large whirlpool tub and separate shower in the bathroom. Outside, a gas grill and picnic table are available for use by guests in the cottages.
