We are a hidden treasure conveniently located with easily accessible local transportation.

Fairfax City is a quaint and economically pleasing area close to DC.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
Four nights would make a great stay in the Black Hill.
Washington, DC; Mount Vernon; local wineries; Wolf Trapp; great shopping.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
There are a dozen restaurants within walking distance as well as yogurt & ice cream shops and a wine bar.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
A great place to hang out is the Irish pub, Auld Shabeen

We have two rooms.
Do you accept pets?
We do not accept pets. There are many local kennels in the area.

George Washington's final home as well as Nelly Custis', his adopted daughter's home, Woodlawn Plantation, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Pope Leighy House. This is a great day trip.
