The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm

Our Inn is a serene country retreat surrounded by picturesque mountain views, majestic hardwood forests, and rushing woodland streams. The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm offers many amenities that will make your stay relaxing and memorable.

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm is located along the Moorman River, an historic passageway into the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah National Park. Only 13 miles west of Charlottesville, Virginia, our seventy acre setting offers you a kind and gentle refuge, yet is convenient to Monticello, the University of Virginia, wineries and other favorite attractions.

Enjoy our mountain brook; hike from our front door into the Shenandoah National Park directly to the Appalachian Trail; visit wineries and historical sites; go fishing, horseback riding, or tubing on the gentle James River. In January and February join us for a scrumptious candle light dinner on Saturday evening (with prior reservation). If you wish we'll give you touring advice, directions, call for restaurant reservations if you need them and provide any other information you may wish to have.

You may choose among nine distinctive bedrooms, each decor inspired by natural features of the area. All bedrooms have private baths, some offer whirlpool tubs and wood-burning fireplaces. King, queen and twin beds are available. In the morning awaken to the aromas of muffins baking, homefries browning and bacon or sausage sizzling in preparation for your full country breakfast.

You may relax in your room or settle in one of our comfortable guest areas including the sun room, the study with TV, or the family room with a huge palladian window (with a direct view to one of the overlooks on Skyline Drive).

Reservation Policies:
2-night minimum stay required on weekends (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday). 3-night minimum stay on some holiday and special events weekends.

Weekend rates apply to Friday and Saturday nights.

Weekday rates apply to Sunday night through Thursday night with the exception of holiday weekends when weekend rates apply to Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
A 3-night minimum stay is required for University of Virginia Graduation Weekend accommodations.
Check-in time 4:00-7:00 p.m. Other times by special arrangement.
Rates are based upon double occupancy. Add $25 per day for each additional person.
A credit card is required to confirm a reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Rates do not include Virginia taxes.
Cancellation Policy:
We have a 14-day cancellation policy. If a guest cancels prior to 14 days from the date of arrival their deposit is returned, less a $20 processing fee. If a guest cancels 14 days or fewer prior to the date of arrival, the deposit is forfeited.
