The Main Inn
In the Main Inn of our Charlottesville bed and breakfast, you may choose among several distinctive and beautiful lodging accommodations, some with wood-burning fireplaces and double whirlpool tubs. Amenities include two butler's pantries offer complimentary hot coffees and teas and cold soft drinks for your refreshment. Numerous common areas afford spaces to visit with friends or to settle in for a quiet read. Three seasons of the year our outside spaces, the first floor terrace or second floor deck, are especially pleasant. All guests enjoy breakfast in the large dining room with views to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Wildflower Room

Country Manor Room
4-Poster King Rice Bed, fireplace, private bath w/ double whirlpool tub. Your cares slip away in our warm and comforting suite in mauve and ivory linen with touches of Battenburg lace. Hunt Country Room
Queen Bed, fireplace, private bath. A cozy room with awesome view of towering Pasture Fence Mountain. Horses and hounds theme carried out in tailored forest green draperies and other appointments. Colonial Room
Extra-Long Twin Beds or King Bed, private bath. A very traditional room with beautiful cherry beds, table and chair. Custom swag curtain protects large walk-in shower. Dogwood patterned curtains and stately plantation blinds portray the Colonial era.Rates Range from: $180 - $210
Woodland Room
Queen Bed, fireplace, private bath. This favorite of many guests carries out the theme of woodland creatures. Softly decorated in natural colors and fabrics. Warm your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace or lie in bed and view the Blue Ridge Mountains shining in the morning sun.Rates Range from: $200 - $230
The Farmhouse - Rooms
The Farmhouse at our Virginia country inn was built in 1905 and renovated in 1998, and shares adjoining lawns with the Main Inn. In the Farmhouse one has a choice of three guestrooms, the Hummingbird Room, the Butterfly Room and the Garden Room with king or queen beds and private baths.
Our guests in the Farmhouse enjoy a sitting room with TV and hot and cold beverages located on the 2nd floor near the guestrooms. They also have complete access to our common rooms in the Main Inn, and everyone eats in our dining room at the Main Inn, which is just a 2-minute walk across the adjoining lawns.
Our guests find that the Farmhouse has a very comfortable, cozy feel. It is almost impossible to resist settling into the old swing on the front porch for a relaxing pause. Many ask to return to the Farmhouse when they make a reservation for a future visit to our bed and breakfast in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Hummingbird Room
King Bed, private bath. The color of warm apricot and cushioned white wicker chairs invite you to relax and sit awhile. Garden Room
Queen Bed, private bath. Enjoy the relaxing hues of the Garden Room's country garden theme. This first-floor guestroom is spacious and convenient to the main entrance to the Farmhouse. The antique brass bed and the heart pine hardwood floors accentuate the ambiance of the 1905 Farmhouse. Cozy up to a good book or take a nap in the pillowed day-bed, also excellent for sleeping an extra person.Rates Range from: $160 - $190
Butterfly Room
Queen Bed, private bath. Relax in a friendly corner of the Butterfly Room or settle for a nap in our most comfortable queen bed. Nostalgic old hats and Hayden's great-grandmother's pantaloons adorn the wall in keeping with the early 1900's farmhouse.Rates Range from: $160 - $190
Shenandoah Suite
Private Entrance, 4-Poster King Bed, Gas Fireplace, TV & DVD, CD Player. Escape to privacy and luxury in our premier Virginia suite. This new addition to the Farmhouse is a self-contained, cottage-like accommodation and is the only guestroom with a private deck and private entrance, making this suite the ideal accommodations for your honeymoon or romantic getaway in Virginia. It is totally separate from the other Farmhouse guestrooms. Thoughtfully appointed, every detail in the Shenandoah Suite testifies to the many years of inn-keeping experience that went into its design. Relax in front of the gas fireplace, curl up with a good book in one of the built-in window seats, or enjoy a long soak in the private bath.
