Our historic B&B is located in the charming community of Chincoteague. An island filled with romance and yester-year charm, Chincoteague is located between Virginia's Eastern Shore mainland and the famous Assateague Island. Here you will enjoy the Chincoteague National Refuge, Assateague National Seashore, Assateague Lighthouse, Eastern Coastal migratory birds and the wild ponies.

We are Chincoteague Island's most historic B&B, having played a role in island history since before the days of the American Civil War. On Chincoteague there are a host of activities for all ages and skill levels.The Islands are flat and great for bike riding, the trails are peaceful and full of wildlife and birdsong, the little streets of Chincoteague are intriguing and Assateague is just glorious.The pristine beach has 37 miles of sand and dunes and plenty of spots to be alone to sun bathe the day away and bonfires and cook-outs are allowed! There are kayaks, canoes, jet skis and boats to hire, sailing, or parasailing!

The fishing is superb, whether you are deep sea fishing, on a bay fishing cruise, surf fishing on Assateague, or fishing from a pier you are sure to enjoy your day (no permits or gear ere required). Our Captains will take you out on cruises to search for shells, birds, dolphins, and ponies or to see a magnificent Chincoteague sunset from the water.
