    Juniper Hill Inn is a unique & historic Vermont bed and breakfast located in the small town of Windsor - minutes from Woodstock, VT. The Inn was built in 1902 as a comfortable country home for a captain of industry, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

    Most inns claim to be romantic destinations: In 1997 Juniper Hill Inn was named a "Romantic Hideaway by the Descerning Traveler". Juniper Hill Inn has been featured in the "Boston Globe" for weddings and romantic escapes.     Windsor is a quaint village famous for being the birthplace of Vermont. It sits on the banks of the Connecticut River, just a short drive from Woodstock, VT and Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. We're also centrally located to many attractions, including Quechee Gorge, Okemo Ski Resort, Ascutney Mountain, and Lake Runnemede.

    Madelyn's Dining RoomOur guests start each day with a full cooked-to-order country breakfast. This hearty meal is included in the cost of your room and is provided in Madelyn's Dining Room. This is the very room that President Teddy Roosevelt and President Calvin Coolidge dined making Juniper Hill one of the most historic New England inns. Our new a la carte menu features local Vermont fresh products and an amazing assortment of regional specialities that highlight the bounty and essence of New England. If you are looking for a fine Woodstock restaurant or Windsor restaurant or Hanover restaurant our historic and romantic inn should be at the top of your list.
    Our dinners are served Thursday through Monday evenings with reservations taken from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. If you decide to dine outside of the inn, Windsor area restaurants offer other choices such as the Windsor Station Pub set in the historic train station with great pub food, Yummy Yummy Chinese for a little international flavor, great pizza at the Pizza Chef, and additional options for fine dining at the Inn at Weathersfield and Home Hill Inn in Weathersfield, Vermont and Cornish, New Hampshire respectively.     Use Interstate 91, exit 9. From 91 north, turn right (from 91 South, turn left) onto Route 5 south. Proceed 2.7 miles to Juniper Hill Road on right, 1/2 mile up hill (bear left at the fork) to driveway on the right. In Heavy snow: Continue on route 5 into the center of Windsor, turn right onto State Street (at the traffic light). Turn right onto County Road. Turn right onto Juniper Hill Road, 3/4 miles to driveway on your left.

The inn chefs work hard to incorporate these products into nightly specials that complement the already extensive menu. Seasonally the inn's gardens produce fresh vegetables and herbs that further the dining experience because they are picked only moments before they are prepared for your plate. For the finest vegetarian cuisine in Vermont, Juniper Hill offers creative selections that include a Panko Crusted Smoked Poblano Pepper stuffed with spinach and local smoked cheddar, ricotta and blue cheese or you may have the Pumpkin Stuffed Ravioli with Walnut Sage Butter Sauce. Steak house lovers will go crazy over our filet mignon or our specially cut 20 ounce steak-lovers steak with either a Vermont blue cheese sauce or our own Blackberry Demi Glace.
