Guest Rooms & Policies
All sixteen guest chambers in this stunning, historic Vermont country inn offer private baths. Several feature our popular restored antique claw-foot soaking tubs - the ideal way to soak your cares away. Nine deluxe guest chambers have working wood burning fireplaces. Two guest chambers feature gas burning fireplaces.Each room is individually decorated with period wallpapers, four poster or canopy beds and antiques. All guest chambers feature air conditioning, CD players with CDs, bedside chocolates, decanters of sherry, hairdryers, full length mirrors, extra blankets and towels, guest slippers, room gifts nightly with turn down service, in-room breakfast option and our famous robes. Thoughtful touches include fresh flowers, crystal glassware, corkscrews and much more.
Rates: Our bed and breakfast in Vermont has rates ranging from $115 to $215 per evening including a full country breakfast for two and afternoon refreshments. No Breakfast plan available for corporate travelers. Self-serve hot beverage service from 7 - 10 PM is also included in our rate. All rates are subject to Vermont rooms and meals tax. Room gratuities are always at the guest's discretion.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy: As an intimate property, cancellations affect us greatly and although we make every effort to work with our valued guests please understand that inns are very different from major hotel chains and therefore have to hold to their cancellation policies. Should you need to cancel, we require a 15 day in advance of your arrival date and implement a $50 per room cancellation fee to cover the administration cost and credit card processing fees. You may choose to convert your deposit to a Future Stay Credit with no cancellation penalty which often suits our guests more favorably. Upon reservation a deposit equal to 50% of your stay is taken on your credit card, which confirms your dates with us. Reservations cancelled within 15 days of the arrival date, but not on the day of arrival or during your intended stay, will result in a Future Stay Credit for the entire amount of the reservation not including taxes. Reservations cancelled on the day of arrival, no shows or early departures are responsible for the reserved time period and the full payment of their entire stay including all gratuities with no credits. Future Stay Credits expire one year from date of issue and may not be used during foliage, special events or holiday periods. Holidays and Fall Foliage have a 60 DAY CANCELLATION policy with the above parameters in place. Dartmouth Graduation has a 6 month cancellation policy, please inquire.
