Geo Hizny and Doug Williams, previous owners of The Rambouillet Hotel in New Hope PA, decided to return to Vermont, and chose the fantastic Mt Snow valley town of Wilmington VT. Why? Well, because it is more Vermont here than anywhere. And there is no place like Vermont, life like it was, when life was simple and carefree.
You'll be stunned by the transformation! We have uncovered some wonderful old wood beams in the carriage house lounge, and will be having FREE wine tastings by the fire place daily at 5-6pm. We also uncovered some beautiful random width hardwood floors in the front desk area and old house parlor

All the fireplaces are working and there is central A/C for that rare warm evening here in the mountains. We will be serving continental breakfasts to our guests with hot coffee available at 7 AM for early birds that want to get out and play.
What's To Come...
- Soon, we will be offering 5 course prix fix dinners that will be chef's choice of two or three entrees of the day. Guests of the inn can order their choice of dinner when they make reservations, so they can enjoy a relaxing home cooked meal after they settle in from their trip.
- We also will offer group packages. A party of 8 people needing 4 guest rooms, can rent the entire old house and get a private parlor and their own outside entrance.
- Snow mobile enthusiasts, who stay at the INN will be happy to know we are clearing the lower meadow by the creek, for winter trailer parking. We are on the VAST trail and have easy access.

The Nutmeg Country Inn is centrally located
in the four season mountain Village of Wilmington
in The Mount Snow Valley and adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest
of Southern Vermont.
