Less than an hour from the bustle of Burlington and the ski slopes of Stowe Vermont, our classic Vermont lodging features one of the few Round Barns left in the state. The site of magical Vermont weddings, rehearsal dinners, business meetings, art exhibits and other cultural events, the Round Barn is a slice of history. The concept of the Round Barn originated with the religious group the Shakers. Some say the Shakers built their barns this way because "the devil can't catch you in the corners."

Home of summer and winter activities and sports - kayaking, canoeing, skiing, equestrian, golf, arts, crafts and festivals - Vermont is sure to have something for everyone. The Mad River Valley is centrally located and home to the ski resorts of Sugarbush and Mad River Glen and less than an hour from Killington and Stowe. With gracious hospitality and outstanding views, we are Pure Vermont.

Hearty and decadent, breakfast at the Inn at the Round Barn Farm is an unparalleled Vermont bed and breakfast experience. Served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in a sunny room with floor to ceiling windows and a view of the hills and gardens, our signature breakfasts start with rich Vermont-roasted coffee, freshly squeezed juice, and fresh fruit.

The Inn's homemade muffins, pastries, coffee cake or sweet breads are freshly baked daily. The whole experience culminates with a hot entree from our own recipe collection --whether it’s cottage cheese pancakes, savory egg strata or blueberry waffles, the entrees are always mouthwateringly delicious. Cereal with fruit is also an option. We gladly accommodate your dietary restrictions or allergies. Coffee and tea are available at 7:30 a.m.

The Inn at the Round Barn Farm has twelve beautiful inn guestrooms, including one suite. Our Vermont accommodations include the comforts guests expect -- and a few more. Down comforters, individually controlled heat, Neutrogena shampoo, conditioner and soaps, lighted make-up mirrors, hairdryers and comfy robes are provided for guest use. Each room offers a unique view and its own uniquely designed decor. Luxury rooms include gas fireplaces, steam showers, or oversized whirlpool tubs.
