Lift off from the backyard of the Inn for a thrilling hot-air balloon flight and soar over the magnificent Quechee Gorge, enjoy a dip in our tranquil pond where you will swim in crystal clear drinking water, exercise in our spacious and well-equipped workout room or pamper yourself with a soothing massage, performed in the luxury and privacy of your guest room. The panorama of distant views is striking and our guests come here to relax, unwind and savor simple pleasures of country life.

With old fireplaces of brick and stone, a wrap-around porch, glimmering swimming pond, gazebo, pergolas, magnificent country barns and an enchanted guest cottage, this property reflects peace and tranquility. Accessible, yet private and far from the bustling city, our guests will enjoy this superb escape.

The dock at pond-side is the perfect location to relax and unwind. It's a wonderful escape from crowds, traffic and noise.

Awaken each morning to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee followed by a savory breakfast. Although the dining room possesses all the prerequisites for formal elegance, the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed.

Day's end will find our guests gathered in the library, playing cards, backgammon, monopoly or just curled up with a glass of wine, a good book and listening to soft music. Our guests are also invited to enjoy the facilities in our workout room. With advance notice, a massage therapist is available to pamper and indulge.

For the more adventuresome guests a hot air balloon ride is available. With advance notice and weather permitting, lift off from the farm's back lawn on an unforgettable journey. Perhaps you may wish to slow down the pace and explore the local farms, fields and forests, ever-changing with the seasons. Or you may enjoy to picnic in the meadow or by the pond. In winter, our glistening white, snow-covered fields may tempt you to practice up on your cross-country skiing skills.

The Inn at Clearwater Pond is the ideal place for a beautiful Vermont Wedding or for any special gathering.  We host family reunions, anniversaries, bridal and baby showers, birthdays and girls, or guys getaway weekends.  Give us a call to inquire about your special event.

Children are welcomed; however, in consideration of other guests, children under the age of 18 must be supervised in the library, workout room, swimming pond and all outside common areas.

We hate to leave our dogs behind when we travel and we're sure you feel the same about your pet.  Dogs love to romp around our spacious backyard and often take a dip in the cooling waters of the pond.  

Relieve stress and treat yourself to a soothing and relaxing massage, performed in the comfort and privacy of your room or suite.  We have two licensed massage therapists on call and double massages are also available.  Be sure to phone ahead for reservations.  Go ahead - treat yourself - you deserve it!

Climb into a large basket and lift-off from our backyard for a thrilling hot-air balloon flight.  Our property backs up to the spectacular Quechee Gorge.  Just imagine the beauty of the Gorge as you soar overhead and then dip down into its flowing waters.  This is one of those "once in a lifetime must do's"!

Our guests can still stay in shape, even while vacationing, in our well-equipped and spacious workout room!
