The Inn has been named to the Governor's List of Green Hotels and has sigfiicantly reduced it's carbon footprint through energy efficient renovations over the last 8 years.

We are named one of the 'HOT 10 CULINARY INNS' by Bon Appetit MagazineRestaurant Verterra: The 'Restaurant Verterra' offers our full A la Carte Menu as well as Chef's Grazing Menu. The Restaurant has a warm, romantic setting with little more of a 'formal' feel (without dress code) than our Tavern. Lucy's Tavern: For a 'casual' dinner, Lucy's Tavern is the choice. Burgers, roast chicken and hearty soups top the menu - and our black board features everything from locally raised meats to New England oysters on the half shell.
Private Dining at 'The Chef's Table' in The Wine Cellar: This is a private and special space where your party will be pampered by our chef and professional waitstaff. For parties of 6 to 12 people, our Executive Chef Jason Tostrup will create a custom tasting menu from 5-10 courses for your party. To enhance your meal, we will be happy to suggest wine pairings.
The 'inn experience' is not complete without a real Vermont breakfast! A hot breakfast is served to you every morning in the sun room. Start the day with a freshly baked treat, coffee or tea and a selection of juices. Then select one of our morning entrees - always made to order. Early bird coffee and tea are always available! All our rooms have private baths, telephones, Cable TV, luxurious linens, featherbeds, plush robes and slippers. Rates are double occupancy (2 adults) and include full hot breakfast and afternoon refreshments.
