The Dodds Room (HS3)

A bright, wide room with large king size bed and directly looking out onto Lake Champlain. A private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and a screened-in porch overlooking Lake Champlain make this room a perfect lakeside retreat.

The Hazen Room (HS6)

The allure of historic architecture at water's edge... The Cobbler' Suite (CH7) in our Cove House Building is by far the most unique accommodation we have to offer at The North Hero House, and is a favorite of many of our guests. Walk down the steps to the water's edge and through an enclosed private patio to find a suite graced with the original structure's two foot thick stone walls of 1811, a cozy fireplace in a spacious living room, and a rustic, queen size four-poster pine log bed. All this paired with panoramic lake views and the sound of the water lapping at the shores, this room truly captures the essence of pastoral Vermont.

Lovely and convenient lakeshore accommodations... Three freshly decorated and comfortable rooms in Southwind are handicap accessible, have a variety of sleeping arrangements and are conveniently located next to our beach and steamship pier. Entrance to these rooms is through a large screened-in porch, providing a wonderful spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the view.

The Haynes Room (302)

The Cove House is located at the water's edge and has six beautiful guest rooms all with private screened-in porches perched over the lake, private baths, and a variety of sleeping arrangements from a king to two double beds. The renovation of this building left the original brick walls in place, making the rooms in this house reminiscent of its historical origins along with the modern conveniences for today's travelers. Have a family to bring? Four of these rooms connect to create a larger accommodation great for families.

Each of these rooms is decorated with beautiful antique furnishings, and all possess an individual appeal. Bed sizes range from double, queen, or two twins. All have private baths with a shower or tub. These lovely rooms are offered at a lower price without sacrificing comfort or beauty in accommodation.

Our 26 guest rooms and suites are located throughout four balconied buildings clustered at the water’s edge. All beautifully restored to their original grandeur, these historical buildings provide comfortable luxury along with the convenience of private baths, telephones, data ports, iPOD™ compatible clock-radios and cable televisions. The majority of our guest rooms have stunning lake and mountain panoramas, and many are graced with private, screened-in porches complete with sitting areas and hammocks. A full breakfast for two is included with your stay. With each room possessing its own distinctive features, our broad selection of accommodations ensures our ability to meet your individual needs and wishes in choosing a guest room.
