The Rabbit Hill Dining Experience
Your day starts with a full candlelit breakfast beginning with a bountiful buffet of fresh baked treats, our famous homemade granola, fruit, yogurts and juices. And yet there's more... your choice of two hot entrees such as apple cheddar crepes in a caramel sauce served with a spinach-orange-pecan salad or a cheddar and roasted red pepper egg Napoleon drizzled with sundried tomato anglaise served with a rosemary potato galette.
Afternoon Sweets & Tea
A perfect cup of tea and delicate pastries await you in the Federal Parlor each afternoon from 2:00 - 5:30. In the warmer months, you will also find pitchers of lemonade on the front porch.
Celebrate your evenings with unforgettable epicurean pleasures and splendid libations. Relax by candlelight as we pamper your spirit and your palette. Our chef and his staff proudly present a new, innovative seasonal dinner menu featuring eclectic interpretations on local ingredients.
To assure availability, dinner reservations are required and recommended at the same time room reservations are made as seating is limited. We usually are unable to accommodate reservations made after 3pm. Rabbit Hill offers a full bar and a carefully selected wine list to complement our exquisite menu. Dress for dinner is "dressy casual". Ultra- casual attire such as shorts and tee-shirts are not appropriate for dinner. The dining room is closed Wednesday evenings except during peak season.
More About Rabbit Hill Inn
There is plenty to do when visiting Rabbit Hill Inn, Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, and North Country New Hampshire.
The inn sits on 15 acres so a walk on our trails is always in order. Nearby, all kinds of activities are available for all seasons.
In the spring and summer, golf at three area courses, swim in nearby lakes such as Lake Willoughby, Crystal Lake, or Echo Lake. Take a tram to the top of Cannon Mountain; hike the Flume Gorge or the trails of the White Mountains; run a kayak or canoe down a lazy river; zip line through the treetops at Alpine Adventures; take a mountain bike through the Kingdom Trails, or take an ATV through the wilderness.
Winter offers downhill skiiing at Burke Mountain in Vermont or Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire. Cross country skiing may be done from the front door of the inn and other nearby locations. And how romantic is a horse-drawn sleigh ride on a snow covered path!
Vermont in the fall is a painter's pallette of color. We offer driving tours to give you the best views; or you may choose to just sit and watch the leaves change color from the front porch of the inn!
And then, there's always the option to just relax and do nothing at all. Take a nap; enjoy a cocktail in the Snooty Fox Pub, read your favorite book or borrow one of ours.
