There are nine glorious Luxury Rooms from which to choose, each with its own unique decor style, setting the stage for a perfect romantic escape. In moments, you will settle into your spacious suite and soothe yourselves in a candlelit whirlpool tub for two. Melt away in a comfy sitting area and enjoy your glowing fireplace. Many also offer private sundecks or covered porches. You'll wish you could stay forever.
Cedar Glen: located in the Old Ballroom wing, offers you the warmth and charm of a deep woods country cabin. All natural woods of cedar and pine joined with hues of blue & honey. Enjoy the romantic glow of the fireplace and a glorious mountain view from the king log canopy bed, the whirlpool tub for two, or the spacious sitting area. Bathroom features an oversized shower. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.The Loft: is located in our 1825 Main House. Rustic meets elegance in this oversized room with hand-hewn beams, cathedral ceiling with skylights, an eight foot Palladian window overlooking gardens, and wideboard floors with hand-hooked rugs. The Loft features a king-sized canopy bed, gas fireplaced sitting area with Chippendale sofa and two Boston rockers. One step up from the bedroom leads to a dressing area. From here, you enter a large bathroom containing a vanity, glass-enclosed shower and a two-person whirlpool tub. This room also offers a private sundeck accessed through a French door. To add to the romance and privacy, The Loft is accessed through a concealed door and secret stairway. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
The Turnabout:
is located in the front of our 1795 Tavern Building and also offers a porch and private outside entrance with an oversized door original to this building. Colonial in decor, The Turnabout is flavored in gold, cranberry and blue with exposed beams and wideboard floors. In addition to a king-sized canopy bed, this room features a gas fireplaced sitting area with couch and wingback chair, a hand-crafted Windsor chair and a blanket chest coffee table. The large bathroom contains an oversized shower and two-person whirlpool tub. Samuel Hodby:
is named after the original innkeeper of the property and is located in our 1795 Building. A private outside entry leads to this spacious, romantic haven. The traditional decor style features colors of hunter green, cranberry, gold and ivory. Enjoy the glowing gas fireplace from your king canopy bed, the comfy sitting area or the 48-jet hydromassage tub for two. The bathroom is furnished with a large vanity and 5 foot shower. Capture grand views of the White Mountains from the shared covered porch. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.

Nest: Perched on the third floor of the 1825 Main Building, The Nest is a romantic European hideaway offering a queen bed wrapped in soft white tulle, and a wicker-wrapped mahogany settee by the gas fireplace. The spacious garden-style dressing room featues a large whirlpool tub for two, vanity and upholstered chaise. Bathroom area provides separate shower & antique pedestal sink. Jonathan Cummings: Our grandest room, is named for the original owner of the 1825 Main House and is located on the third floor. This generously-sized suite is traditional in decor style with colors of burgundy, teal and soft gold. It features a gas fireplaced bedroom with queen four-poster canopy bed. Proceed through an expansive sitting/dressing room with a second gas fireplace to enjoy the 44-jet hydromassage tub for two and cozy reading area. A screened and fully furnished porch offers spectacular views of the White Mountains. $359 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
The Tavern's Secret:
is located in the rear of our 1795 Tavern Building and has a private outside entrance and furnished sundeck. There is a king-sized cocoa suede headboarded bed facing a gas fireplaced sitting area with two leather chairs & ottoman. California contemporary transitional theme with rich espresso furnishings, high ceiling, and rich birch paneled walls. The bathroom contains an oversized glass-enclosed shower and a two-person hydromassage tub. Colors are mocha, honey, and beige. The "SECRET" of The Tavern's Secret is for lovers to discover. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Molly's Promise:
with private outside entry, is located in the Carriage House. This soothing, spacious room offers a king-sized, hand-carved oak mansion bed with six-foot headboard. Enjoy the relaxing glow of the gas fireplace from the bed and the sitting area, furnished with taffeta love seat & side chair. A generous bathroom features a double shower and two-person whirlpool tub. Victorian in decor, Molly's Promise is done in shades of sage, rose, and ivory. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Carriage Corner:
located in the Carriage House, offers a private outside entrance that leads to an interestingly configured room. One can view the angled fireplace from the king-sized pencil post canopy bed, from either of the two wingback chairs or from the two-person soak tub with dual opposing shower heads. Decor is American Country in burgundy and hunter green. Floors are carpeted and tiled. $335 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Superior RoomsOur six Superior Rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, each with its romantic theme and decor style. Soon you will find yourself admiring the views, relaxing with your feet up by the glowing fireplace, or perhaps taking a well-deserved nap in a lavish king canopy bed suited for royalty. A few also offer the outdoor comforts of covered porches looking out to those peaceful mountains.
Hampshire
In the Old Ballroom Wing of the Main House, Hampshire is designed to replicate an English Manor study. Deep, rich wood moldings, spice tones, embossed wallpaper, and paneled ceiling create the environment. King sleigh bed, corner gas fireplaced sitting area, ample space, and a mountain view make this a very comfortable escape. Victoria:
Victoria is located on the second level of the 1825 Main House. This spacious, romantic room features a king-sized 1850's reproduction iron bed in white enamel & brass trim. Very Victorian in decor, this room is dressed in white, blue and rose with an interesting blend of floral fabrics and wall coverings. The gas fireplace glows throughout the room. Furnishings include an empire sofa, marble-top table and two chairs. Bathroom features a vanity and full tub/shower. Victoria has access to a fully furnished, covered porch with magnificent views of the White Mountains. $259 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40
Canopy:
Canopy is a spacious, Colonial-style room located on the second floor of the Main House. Enjoy the glowing gas fireplace from the queen-sized canopy bed, upholstered chaise lounge, two Boston Rockers or writing desk area. Colors are sage and antique white with hand-stenciled walls. The bathroom features a vanity & full tub/shower. Your view captures the stunning White Mountains and a furnished, covered porch is accessed from the hallway directly outside this room. $259 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Music:
Music is a very spacious Colonial room, located on the second level of the Main House. A custom-made, king-sized four-poster bed with hand-woven canopy sits opposite a gas fireplaced sitting area with two wingback chairs. It is furnished with a fainting couch, victrola and collection of 78's and the 1857 pump organ original to the church across the street. The room is decorated in cranberry, bayberry, gold and creamand has hardwood floors and Oriental rugs. With seven windows, this bright room offers views of the White Mountains as well as the gardens. Reflections:
Located in the Old Ballroom Wing, Reflections offers a Neoclassical motif in ivory, celadon, and emerald with soft, light reflective papers, European art, and custom mirror. The draped, queen, iron post bed faces the corner gas fireplaced sitting area with wingback chairs in a French street-scene tapestry. Bathroom features vanity and glass-enclosed tub/shower. $259 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Top of the Tavern:
Located on the third floor of the 1795 Tavern Building, the Top of the Tavern was the quarters for the Hodby family - the Inn's original owners. It has been newly redesigned in a French Country style featuring buttery tones accented with soft blues and golds. It offers a four-poster queen bed, gas fireplaced sitting area with sofa, wingback chair, window seats, coffee table and wall-to-wall carpeting throughout. Adjoining the bedroom is a comfortable sitting/dressing room containing a daybed, vanity, and cozy reading nook with views of the village and beautiful White Mountains beyond. Separating the two rooms is a bright traditional bathroom with vaulted ceiling and skylights. All of this makes the Top of the Tavern a fantasy for stepping back in time. $259 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Classic RoomsWe offer you four charming Classic Rooms, all with comfortable space and a variety of enchanting decor choices. Cozy into your restful sitting areas and admire the peaceful views of mountains or colorful landscape.
Rose: is located on the second floor of the main house. This bright corner room offers an antique queen bed, comfortable sitting area, wideboard floors, and hand-hooked rugs. Decorated in antique white and floral rose, the Rose Room is soft, lacy and romantic. The bathroom features a pedestal sink and full tub/shower. $199 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Mary's Wish: located in the Old Ballroom wing of the Main House, boasts a little extra space than the other Classic rooms. An ante-room with daybed is a great extension of the main room. Furnishings include a king-sized mahogany cannonball bed and two comfy wing back chairs. Color scheme is ivory, mauve, burgundy and soft gold. A very bright corner room with a lovely mountain view. Caroline:
Caroline, named for the daughter of Jonathan Cummings, is located in the 1795 Tavern Building. This newly remodeled room boasts the colors of wedgewood blue, ivory, and crisp white. Here you will find a queen-sized iron bed, loveseat, full carpeting, and several windows facing the mountains and village. A furnished porch is accessed immediately outside the bedroom door. The bathroom features a vanity and full tub/shower. $199 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Peak add $40.
Tiffany:
Tiffany, on ground level with a private outside entrance, is located in the Carriage House. This cozy room features a queen-sized, four-poster, high-frame bed and small sitting area with side table. A sweet and crisp American Country room, Tiffany is done in blue, white and cornsilk yellow and offers wall-to-wall carpeting, and track lighting. The bathroom features a vanity and oversized glass-enclosed shower (because of Tiffany's location in the inn, it is a natually cool room in the summer and as such does not offer air-conditioning). $169 — with afternoon tea, breakfast and service charge. Policies
- Rates are for one or two people, per night - including afternoon tea & pastries, full candlelit breakfast, and gratuity for staff.
- Third Person in Room, add $35.
- Multi-course dinner available at $53 per person (an 18% gratuity is added to all dinner and liquor charges in lieu of tipping). Dinner reservations strongly recommended when making room reservations.
- State taxes and Pub charges are additional
- Rates are subject to change without notice
- Two Night Minimum on Weekends (three night minimum for some holidays)
- Afternoon Tea served 2:00 to 5:30
- Check-in welcome from 2 pm to 6 pm (later check-ins may be arranged in advance)
- Check-out requested by 11 am
- Payments may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express & Discover cards
- Rabbit Hill Inn maintains a totally NON-SMOKING environment.
- The Inn is appropriate for children ages 14 and older.
- Rabbit Hill Inn is wheelchair accessible.
- Deposit Policy: Reservations must be secured by a deposit equal to one night's stay — or 50% for extended stays.
- Cancellation Policy: With at least a 14 day notice, we will gladly refund your deposit less a $30 per room processing fee. For cancellations with less than 14 days notice, deposit will be refunded less fee provided the room is rebooked. Guests arriving after or departing before dates reserved, or those who fail to show are responsible for the entire stay. Major holidays, September and October, and special events require a 30 day notification.
- Pet Policy: With prior approval, the Carriage Corner Room may accommodate one small, well-behaved dog not exceeding 25 lbs. for an additional $25/night fee. Click here for full policy details. Sorry, but Reese the Cat will not allow other pets inside the Main House.
