Guests can choose from several self-guided tours to local attractions. The owners have planned detailed road trips to local waterfalls, swimming hole wineries, historic sites, antique shops. Jason wrote Make a Splash: Swimming Holes and Waterfalls of the Green Mountains and guest can take along copies.

We now have another exciting activity to offer our guests! If you would like to spend a weekend or a week learning to paint our beautiful landscape or if you already paint and would like to learn some new techniques, artist, Barbara J. Pafume, is now our artist-in-residence. She is available to give you private lessons or connect you to a workshop. Our surrounding area at the Inn provides inspiration all year and Barbara also teaches artists to paint nocturnes! Beautiful moonlight in Vermont is truly magical and you can learn how to capture it, the majestic mountains, clear streams and pristine valleys in watercolor, oil, acrylic or pastel!
