Halladay's Harvest Barn Inn (previously known as Horsefeathers Inn) is a 1897 Vermont farmhouse with gorgeous clifftop views of the Connecticut River winding its way through the historic village of Bellows Falls.
Come...relax in the warmth of our comfortable, affordable inn with outstanding views of the Connecticut River and the hillsides of Vermont and New Hampshire. Enjoy a "gourmet comfort food" breakfast prepared to your liking, and treat yourself to a massage, scrub or aromatherapy session without leaving the inn.

Savory appetizers & sweet treats greet you on your return from your day's activities...snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, antiquing, exploring the quaint and artsy hamlets of the surrounding area.
Do something new and fun. Take one of our cooking classes. Brush up on your watercolor painting, knitting or quilting on one of our special weekends. Enjoy the area – take a complementary Saturday morning yoga class, have a massage right here at the inn. We are located just 25 miles from Okemo ski resort and 13 miles from cross country skiing. Seasonally, avail yourself of the nearby river excursions, antique art and craft centers, golf, trout fishing, art galleries, live theater and most importantly, the incredible beauty of Vermont in all four seasons.
Most of our rooms have a private baths and a gorgeous view, several with a private deck.

The guest rooms are clean, modern, stylish and fully furnished for your comfort. No fussiness or lace here!
All rooms have private bathooms (most are ensuite). Room rates range from $99 to $179 per night depending on the room, night and season. Rates include full 'creative comfort food' breakfast but do not include a 9% tax.

Policies
Check-in /Check-out: Check-in is 3-7pm. If you will be arriving after 7pm, please let us know and we will review the check in procedure with you. Check-out is at 11am. Early check-ins or late check-outs are considered on a case by case basis.
Deposit: We require a minimum of a one night deposit. For stays longer than 2 nights, we require a 50% deposit. Please call to inquire about our discounted rates for business travelers and for whole house rental rates. We accept Mastercard and Visa. The balance is due upon check-in.
Cancellation: Due to the size of our inn, last minute cancellations greatly affect us. Should it become necessary to cancel your reservation with us, we will refund your deposit, less a $25 processing fee, if the cancellation occurs more than 7 days prior to your date of arrival. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, your deposit, less than $25 processing fee, will be applied toward a future stay at our inn. This stay must occur within one year of the cancellation date or the entire deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations which occur on the date of arrival, no shows or early departures, we will charge your card for the full amount of the original reservation. If we are able to re-rent the room that you reserved, we will refund 50% of your full stay.
Pet Policy: We accept well behaved dogs on a case by case basis and only in our Orchard Suite, subject to availability. The Suite is on the second floor of the inn with a private entrance to the back lawn area. If you are interested in bringing your dog, please call the inn so that we may review our pet policy with you. There is a $25 per night charge per dog.
We reserve the right to ask you to board your pet with a local kennel or pet sitter or to leave the inn if the pet is causing a disturbance to the other guests or damaging the inn property. Any damages caused by the pets to inn property will incur repair fees charged to the guest's card on file. A detailed repair bill will be sent to the guest after the repairs are made.
Smoking: We are a non-smoking inn. If you do smoke, we will direct you to our smoking area.
Children: Our inn caters to business travelers and couples enjoying a romantic getaway. Children over 12 are welcomed regularly and we welcome children of all ages for whole house rentals.
