Built in 1895 by R. Spencer Hines, The Hines Mansion is one of the more famous mansions in Provo, having been designed by Richard Karl August Kletting, the architect of the Utah State Capitol, building. Much of the original decor has been left in place; including wood moldings, brick walls, and stained glass. Many of the nine bedrooms have period furniture, and all are tastefully decorated to provide a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Each room has a king or queen size bed, a two-person whirlpool tub, TV, and VCR with video tape library. A full gourmet breakfast starts the day. Rates: $119 - $219.
