Willow Glen Inn

Furnished with a hand made, queen size Aspen Log bed, television, A/C, microwave oven, compact refrigerator, and private bath with jetted tub. The Barn Room features a western theme with lots of native Aspen trim in a cozy 273 square foot room for two. Shown at right is a night-time view of the Barn Room entrance.

The photo at left shows the Aspen log bed and hand made armoire. The Barn Room is rich in Willow Glen history having once been a major portion of the old Pony Barn. Guests enjoy its western them and covered porch with built in swing.

A two-bedroom, one bath suite with large family room and kitchenette comprise this family oriented unit. Many of the Carter kids have over the years rented this unit during the off season while attending college. The large family room has a north facing bay window, high ceiling, and is paneled in beautiful redwood recycled from the old Chauffeur's Lodge which Phil, Violet and family dismantled. A large, covered porch with private parking help make this one Willow Glen's most flexible and convenient units.

This 1,800 square foot suite includes three large bedrooms, the White room and Red room with queen size beds and the Gold room, with a queen and a full size bed. It also includes two bathrooms, a kitchen with refrigerator, electric range, coffee maker sink and cabinets. The living room features a rock fireplace with gas log, sofa and television with VCR. The walls are paneled in solid Quaking Aspen and accented with native Cedar. The ceiling features an exposed area of native pine beams. Phil constructed the rock fireplace, hearth and wainscot of local stone when they built the house.

This suite is ideal for a family or small group of friends with standard occupancy for 6. Up to four additional guests can be accommodated with roll-away beds for $25.00 per night per person. The living room is also available for small conferences of 15-20 people.

The Garden room features a queen bed, television, A/C, microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker and private bath with Jacuzzi brand jetted tub. The 542 square foot Garden room was converted from the original green house and retains large view windows facing south and west overlooking vegetable and flower gardens. The entrance to the Garden Room is via the lath house which includes a separate picnic area. One of our most popular rooms, its light airy feeling, high ceilings and native rock walls make it a favorite with honeymoon and anniversary couples.

The Gold room with its queen bed, double bed, built-in bookcase and a walk in closet is a favorite for many of our repeat customers. Guests staying in the Gold room share a bath with the Red room guests and also enjoy the use of the large family room with it's television, sofa, recliner and kitchen/dining room. The Red room of Willow Glen's Family Suite features a carpet selected by Jonathan when a teenager, two walk in closets and queen-size bed with cherry headboard. Additional furnishings include tables, chairs, chest of drawers and wall decorations made by Violet. A hand made bed cover and Americana decorations speak of Violet's love of this room. The Red room shares a bath with the Gold Room. Red Room guests have access to the adjacent family room, kitchen, patio and secluded back yard lawn area. Private parking is nearby.

This unique suite features lots of wood and rock. It is Phil's dream place. A built-in queen size bed, bathroom with a jetted tub,dressing area, television in the sitting room, air conditioning and a kitchenette make this unit an ideal honeymoon suite. The photo above left shows the bedroom with built-in, queen-size log bed and ceiling fan. At left is the entrance with covered porch next to the private parking area. Shown below is the sitting area with padded arm chairs,love seat and television. The bedroom is visible just beyond the TV. The Tree Room also features a private bath with jetted tub, kitchenette with sink, microwave oven and small refrigerator and a private dinning area all shown in photos below. As with all our rooms smoking and pets are not allowed for the safety and confort of our guests with allergies.

The View room features a private entrance, television, A/C, microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, private bath with whirlpool tub, and queen bed.

This room has a bay window overlooking its private lawn area with picnic table.  Many of our guests have chosen this room year after year for their home away from home while enjoying the Utah Shakespearean Festival in nearby Cedar City.

The White room, one of the three bedrooms in the Family Suite, has a private bath with tub and shower. An oak dresser, canopy covered queen size bed, end tables and lamps plus chair furnish this very popular room. A small collection of books is shelved near the entrance to the white room. Guests enjoy the adjacent family room and kitchen. These rooms open onto a patio and the tree lined secluded back yard lawn area.
 

Two bedrooms, kitchenette including refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & sink, sitting room with television, A/C, and private bath with separate vanity make up this 1165 square foot suite. Unique circular stars lead to the second bedroom. The Loft room, being on the 2nd floor, features picture windows providing breathtaking views of Fiddlers Canyon and Cedar Mountain. Two bedrooms provide standard occupancy for 4. One additional guest can be accommodated with a rollaway bed for an additional $25 per night.
 

A queen bed, television, A/C, microwave oven, coffee maker, and private bath with walk-in shower. This 315 square foot room features an entrance with a covered porch. A very functional room with private bath. This room was Violet's office when the cottage complex was her floral shop, however, with expansion of the Bed and Breakfast it became another guestroom with private bath. Many repeat guests choose this room due to its convenient parking and covered entrance.
