All of our accommodations are in either the main building or one of our cottages, and all rooms have private, full baths, and either an enclosed sitting area or an open deck. All of our accommodations have individually controlled heating and air-conditioning. None of the accommodations are in the owner/innkeeper's private home. Your stay always includes a full, multiple-course breakfast served in the dining room of the main building each morning - at a private table. There is a selection of items from which to choose your breakfast.

Joseph is a graduate of the Texas Culinary Academy and was the Executive Chef of the acclaimed Mirabelle Restaurant in Austin, where he trained under David Apthorpe (who was voted best chef in Austin three times).

Patti is one of the owners of Rose Hill and is the breakfast chef. We prepare all of our multiple-course breakfasts from scratch and they feature such delights as homemade blueberry muffins and homemade apple spice bread, Eggs Benedict, vanilla/cinnamon French toast, and Patti's famous omelets.

Both Joseph and Patti work hard to find local products that can be combined with specialties from around the world to provide wonderful cuisine in a relaxed and friendly, but also luxurious environment. Both breakfast and dinner are served at private tables, just like any upscale restaurant, and room service is available for either (for a nominal fee).

Dinner at Rose Hill Manor's Fredericksburg, Texas restaurant is a favorite part of many of our guests' stay. We believe in the European-style of dining, which is a leisurely pace, with a succession of appetizer-size plates with wonderful flavors and textures. It's kind of like going to a wonderful country inn in Province or Tuscany without crossing the pond! We're open to the public also. Join us for an epicurean adventure!

Main Dining Room - (Open every Wednesday through Sunday nights to both our Overnight Guests and the General Public)

Each Wednesday through Sunday night, the main dining room features a four-course prix fixe dinner for $39.95 per person, plus beverages, tax, and gratuity. This format is our guests' favorite and consists of an amuse bouche, soup or salad course, an appetizer, a meat course, a dessert course, and a mignardise. For an additional fee, you can upgrade the third course of your meal with a Black Angus Filet Mignon, or for no charge you can subsitute our signature crab cakes for the third course. Enhance your dining experience with the four 1/2 glass wine pairings shown for an additional $30 plus tax. The menu will change weekly, but for those who want to dine with us on consecutive nights, we will be happy to serve you an entirely different four-course dinner. Come join us for a memorable experience. Dinner is served at 7:00. If you are staying at Rose Hill Manor and cannot make the 7:00 meal, we can also have a wonderful plate of charcuterie/antipasto in your room on arrival.

Room service is available for breakfast or dinner. There is a $25 extra fee.

Picnic Menu (For Our Overnight Guests Only): Enjoy a wonderful, romantic picnic packed by us in our special wicker picnic baskets! These baskets can be enjoyed here on the grounds at Rose Hill, at one of the many wineries, the park, along the river, or wherever else you may choose. Just give us a call, at least 48 hours in advance, and we'll figure out what you would like in your picnic basket ($40 plus tax for two people).

Room service is available for breakfast or dinner. There is a $25 extra fee.

From Fredericksburg - Take Highway 290# to Ranch Road 1623. Ranch Road 1623 is approximately 15 miles, measuring from the Nimitz Center at Washington & Main Streets. The turn-off to Ranch Road 1623 is ¼ mile past Lindig's Cafe in Stonewall. Turn right on Ranch Road 1623, drive 2 miles on Ranch Road 1623 to Upper Albert Road and turn right on Upper Albert Road, which is the first paved road to the right. Rose Hill Manor is on the left, approximately ¼ mile.

From Dallas, Houston, & Austin Via Johnson City - Go approximately 15 miles out of Johnson City on Highway 290W. Turn left (south) on Ranch Road 1623, which is 1 mile past the entrance to the LBJ State Park. Go 2 miles on Ranch Road 1623 to Upper Albert Road and turn right on Upper Albert Road, which is the first paved road to the right. Rose Hill Manor is on the left, approximately 1/4 mile.
