Eagles' Nest Log Cabin

The Eagles' Nest Log Cabin, built from cedar and pine cut on the 300 acre 9E Ranch, was designed for intimacy, comfort and a wonderful panoramic view. Nestled on a hillside among tall pine trees, you may see the Texas longhorns, deer, wild turkey and the colorful Texas sunset from your cabin. The cabin includes private deck, an antique footed tub for a relaxing bubble bath, shower, queen-size bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen, AC/heat, CD/radio and TV/VCR. The gazebo, a few yards away, looks over a western view of the landscape from one of the highest points in Bastrop County.

Eagles' Nest is $165 per night (Texas hotel/motel tax is not included). $15 per night per additional guests.

Michelle's Log Cabin is built of cedar and pine cut on the 9E Ranch. Across from the pasture where the horses run, it includes a full kitchen, queen size bed in the loft and twin day bed with trundle downstairs, TV/VCR, antique bathtub, and all you need for a ranch get away! A special place for the horse lover and creative spirits, Michelle's Log Cabin was the home of photographer and horse lover Michelle Otto. It is decorated with beautiful photography taken by Michelle and horse decor. The covered porch with rocking chairs overlooks the horses pasture. Come away to the country where you can see the stars at night and feel the peace of nature.

Michelle's Log Cabin is $145 per night for two guests ($15 per night per guest for over two) with a two night minimum stay. Your dog is welcome with a fee of $15 per night as long as he stays off the bed.

The Daisy Cottage, completed in November 2007, is the largest with two bedrooms and a jucuzzi in the bathroom. It is located on the hill with windows on three sides, and decks off each bedroom and the living room provide a panoramic view of the Lost Pine forest with all the wildlife. The Daisy Cottage was named and styled after Daisy Waterman, Joan's grandmother. It is furnished with famly antiques, and has a full kitchen, TV/DVD, CD player, central AC/Heat. Daisy Cottage has two bedrooms with queen bed in one and bunk bed(full lower, twin upper) in the other bedroom. The living room sofa is a hide-a-bed for additional sleeping space if needed.

Rate for the Daisy Cottage is $195 per night. All rates based on up to 2 occupants. For each additional occupant (more than 2) there is a $15 per night per person charge. No pets in Daisy Cottage.

Texas Lone Star Log Cabin

The Texas Lone Star Log Cabin with its Texas decor, including a set of longhorns and old fashioned wood burning stove, will give you a taste of the Texas cowboy life. The stained glass window above the built-in double bed makes for a cozy atmosphere. The loft with hand rails on the stairs made of cedar logs and pine floors has a sky roof for moon and star watching. The Texas Lone Star Cabin sleeps four and has a kitchen, air conditioning, heat, CD/radio, built in full bed downstairs, twin trundle bed in the loft.

The cabin rental rate for Texas Lone Star Log Cabin is $135 per night (Texas hotel/motel tax is not included). $15 per night per additional guests. Small, well behaved dogs are allowed in the Texas Lone Star cabin with a $15 fee per pet, per night.
