The very private and oh-so-chic Buchanan Carriage house was recently remodeled with a cool contemporary flair. Entering this delightfully cozy room unveils a wooden platform king-size bed with plush memory foam mattress. The bed is adorned with luxurious high thread count Sferra sheets and duvet cover. Set in front of the bed on the far wall is a 40 inch flat screen LCD HD TV with Digital Cable/DVR and Blu-Ray DVD player. The room also features 12 foot sloped ceilings, Poul Henningsen inspired artichoke pendant lights, a writing desk, and a Philippe Starck "Ghost Chair". The juxtaposition of the bed and desk allows easy TV viewing from the desk or bed. Moving past the writing desk into the bathroom reveals elegant marble floors, a pedestal sink, and a comfortable two person whirlpool tub surrounded by classic subway tile and traditional wainscot accents. The opulent Bonham room is located on the 2nd floor and fabulously combines spaciousness and luxury. Upon entering the Bonham you immediately view windows running the entire width of the back wall providing a lovely view of the backyard. The intricate carved wood king bed, soothing memory foam mattress, 1000 thread count sateen sheets, and Silk and Cotton duvet and shams swaddle you in comfort almost begging you to sleep until late afternoon. The 37 inch High Definition LCD TV with digital cable produces images so real you feel you can reach out and touch them. The splendid private bathroom has a separate shower and large two-person whirlpool tub. Lovely polished Italian and Turkish travertine marble embellish the floor and walls of the oversized bathroom. The two antique reproduction vanities beautifully combine form and function and finish out the area. Spoil yourself rotten in this fabulous suite.

The lovely stained red oak double doors open up to an airy suite with a 14 foot cathedral ceiling and stylish old world antique bronze and alabaster chandelier. The back wall windows present a pleasant view of the tree-lined Avenue. The left side of this stately room features a bronze king size bed dressed with a custom duvet cover and silky matching shams. The luxurious linens include 800 thread count cotton sateen sheets & goose down pillows set on a posh 10 inch Memory Foam Mattress. To the right side of the room is a comfy seating area and large armoire . In full view from the bed and seating area is the 37 inch HD LCD flat screen TV with digital cable and a DVD player. Finishing out the room are two eclectic alcoves one housing a reading nook and the other a desk and comfortable desk chair. There is also a hidden alcove...can you find the secret entrance? The restful private bathroom has a cast iron tub/shower combination with lovely travertine and tumbled marble floors and an antique pedestal sink. Once you’re inside this majestic suite you may never want to leave.

• Reservation Cancellation: The 1908 Ayres Inn is a historic property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14(fourteen) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Special Events such as festivals and peak periods require a 3 week (21 day) advance notice for cancellation to avoid penalty. Group reservations (entire house), Final Four, Christmas, New Years, Fiesta, etc., also require at least a 21 day advanced notice to avoid penalty. Deposit will be refunded if you meet the requirements. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than the described notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that the deposit will not be refunded and we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation unless we can rebook your room.
