    Tucked behind a cedar fence in historic New Braunfels, the Texas SunCatchers Inn  offers all the warmth and comfort of a home away from home. Texas SunCatchers Inn is a great place for small groups, families, reunions, friends or other special getaways.  It offers a comfortable, home-style, relaxed atmosphere nestled behind a cedar fence and is just minutes from Downtown New Braunfels, Historic Gruene and other area attractions.  Guests are treated like family with afternoon refreshments, pleasant conversation and a home-made breakfast prepared and served with love and care.

    Close to dozens of major attractions, yet secluded, the Inn is private and inviting.

    Upon your arrival you will be greeted with warm hospitality and refreshments to enjoy as you settle in. In the morning, at your desired time, arise to fresh coffee or tea and a satisfying Continental Plus breakfast. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs or menu requests, with advanced notice.

    Visitors are welcome to come by for a chat and cup of tea.

    Take a refreshing swim in New Braunfel's first private pool after a day of tubing or sit by a crackling fire under the evening stars. Relax in the large hot tub under a tree canopy or curl up with a cup of tea and a good book in front of the fireplace after a full day of shopping at the Outlet Malls or in historic Downtown New Braunfels.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Most visitors are coming to New Braunfels to enjoy some type of water activity - tubing, rafting, Schlitterbahn Water Park. I also host many guests attending a concert at Gruene Hall or another local event - Gruene Market Days, Wine & Music festivals, charitable walk/run or cycling.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    Being family & pet friendly, or just being friendly! What makes your inn unique? Me, and being family & pet friendly and having a pool. What do you love most about your inn? Its warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The Rivers - Comal & Guadalupe and/or Schlitterbahn Water Park.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    I have received so many it is hard to pinpoint the best. I have had poems & songs written, many prayers & blessings. I guess the best would be "This was exactly what I needed". And, of course "I will be back and tell others about your wonderful Inn".

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The great natural walking trails in the City Park and the Outdoor Art Gallery displays.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Day 1: Visit the many museums.
    Day 2: (Summer) Tube the river or visit Schlitterbahn Water Park.
    Day 3: Visit local wineries and vineyards or take a Wine Tasting Tour.
    Day 4: Shop in Downtown New Braunfels, Historic Gruene and/or local Outlet Malls.
