Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Kim Harrison for sharing her own secrets with BBOnline.com!
Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

I host a variety of guests, vacationers, travelers and business people.  The main reason that they choose to stay at a small B&B is to enjoy the unique experience that is not available at a hotel or other lodging facility.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

I am known for offering genuine hospitality and going the extra mile (foot) for my guests. SunCatchers Inn has the oldest in-ground, private pool in New Braunfels and is hosted by an Innkeeper with over 2 decades of experience - which I love to share with guests.  I love the comfort and home-style atmosphere of my traditional B&B.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

New Braunfels offers a wealth of German History & Culture as well as a beautiful natural environment.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

"It is just like staying at the house of a good friend."

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

The beautiful City Park and the Historic Theatre located Downtown.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

Visit the Sophienberg Museum, Conservation Plaza, Historic Gruene & Downtown New Braunfels, float down and enjoy the River(s), tour local wineries, eat at several great area restaurants, see a show at the Brauntex Historic Theatre, visit Gruene Hall.

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

Unfortunately no, but there are many attractions just a short drive away.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

Currently it is A-Tan Sushi & Chinese Bistro & Bar.

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?

The New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce website. http://www.nbcham.org/
How many rooms does your inn have?

Texas SunCatchers Inn has 3 accommodations (2 double occupancy & 1 suite).  There is comfortable sleeping for up to 8 people.

    Do you accept pets?

I do welcome pets if I have availability.  My policy requires that the party with the pet be the sole guests of the Inn.  I do not charge a deposit but have a pet fee of $15.00 per pet per night.
