Our wonderful large breakfast brunch is served in the main house, the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building beginning at 9 am. Hot coffee or tea along with juice is available in our wonderful common room beginning at 7 am. Our large breakfast may include some of the following: egg dishes (cream cheese eggs, fried eggs or a quiche), fresh fruit (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, cantelope, apples or oranges), fresh meat (bacon, ham or sausage), homemade breads (muffins, rolls, cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, toast or sopapillas), potato dishes (fried potatos or scalloped potatos), homemade tamales, jams and jellies, juice, water, milk and hot coffee or tea.
We serve family style -- that is guests sit around the table and we bring the food to the table. Here guests can enjoy breakfast and good conversation. Some guests even meet old friends here or make new ones.
DEER HAVEN COTTAGE

DEER HAVEN COTTAGE is a newer building that used to be our barn and is now a charming 3 bedroom cottage with approximately 900 sq. ft. The original walls of the building have 6" cement walls that has been lovingly restored with tile floors. It is a perfect room for a small family that needs room to spread out, separate bedrooms and a variety of amenities. Hand painted art and prints give the rooms a homey feel including the print of a "Yoga Dog".
Deer Haven Cottage Amenities:
Location: one story building - downstairs with 4 front door steps
Sleeps: 2-6 guests with a maximum of 6
Beds: 2 queens, 1 twin, and 1 twin rollaway
Bath: A marble Jacuzzi and shower combination
Pet friendly accommodations (add $20 per pet per night - limit 2). If pets are left alone, they must be in a carrier. If outside, pets must be on a leash. Thank you.

The Deer Haven Cottage comfortably sleeps 2 guests or up to 5 guests. Six guests can sleep if you decide to use the roll-away twin bed. NIGHTLY ROOM RATE for 2 people is $225.00 plus 10% tax. Weekends require a two night minimum, however we welcome single night requests. A three night minimum is required for all holidays. After reserving, you'll receive a confirmation by fax or mail.
KUEBLER'S KASTLE ROOM
KUEBLER'S KASTLE ROOM is a comfortable and cozy downstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building and is named after Mrs. Betty Kuebler, Margy's mother who lived here in her "GOLDEN YEARS". Kuebler's Kastle is decorated in a western style with weathered barnwood, rock walls and Saltillo tile. Natural sunlight brightens the room through four large shuttered windows. Perfect for someone that wishes to avoid stairs and steps. The bath is marble and is wheelchair accessible.
Some of the basic features of the Kuebler's Kastle Room is that it has a king size bed, 2 large marble countertops for a desk or dressing area, TV, sink, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator and it is close to the dining room and common room.

HILLSIDE HIDEAWAY ROOM
HILLSIDE HIDEAWAY is a delightful large upstairs room in the main Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. This room is a popular room for a special couple or for a family with children with one king bed and one double size bed. It also has a fold down desk and a small porch. It is called Hillside Hideaway because this portion of the main house is built-into the hill where the house is situated.
The hidden treasure in this Texas Hill Country b&b is the wonderful blue and white marble jacuzzi bath, and it is a great way to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate. Hillside Hideaway is accented by quilts, pillows, and unique shaped towels, and it has natural solar light power through four windows. Please be aware that this room does not have a shower. There just was not enough room for both a jacuzzi and a shower. This room sleeps 2-4 guests. Additional rates apply if 3 or 4 guests are in this room.

THE GUILBEAU ROOM
GUILBEAU (gill-bow) ROOM is a upstairs room directly over the kitchen in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. You get to smell coffee and breakfast.. before coffee and breakfast. This room has a queen and a twin bed and can sleep 2-3 guests - perfect for 3 adults or a family with a child. It has 2 sink vanity and a separate bath area. Additional rates apply for extra guests over 2.
In-room amenities include a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee pot and supplies, a blow dryer, heat/AC, TV w/DVD player and desk and work space.
A LITTLE TEXAS HISTORY: This room is named after Francios Guilbeau, a French wine merchant and original owner of this property. Francios Guilbeau is credited with having saved the French wine industry because he exported Mustang Grape vine cuttings from Comal County Texas and sent them back to France where the blite resistant vines were grafted onto the diseased vines. This saved the French wine industry in the 1850's.

KATHERINE'S ATTIC ROOM

KATHERINE'S ATTIC ROOM is a very large upstairs room that can sleep 2-5 guests in the main Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. This room is wonderfully constructed and supported by original wooden cedar beams and it still has the original wooden pegs dating back to 1847. Rough cut cypress wood from the Guadalupe river cross the beams line the ceiling. The shutters on the 4 small windows can be opened to let in natural Texas sunlight to reveil the limestone rock walls, the cedar hand hewn beams, and the Texas A&M maroon carpet. Close the shutters to create a nice dark room for a great nights sleep. If walls could talk -- who knows what Texas stories or tall tales you might hear?
KATHERINE'S ATTIC ROOM has a total of 2 king beds and 1 twin, a great room for 5 adults, 5 children, or another configuration. The wonderful large bath has a matching maroon and white marble Jacuzzi tub and shower combination along with a dressing area next to the bathroom. The dressing area can also serve as a work area or for a computer. Enjoy a large shared porch and a shared kitchenette (with a sink, microwave, refrigerator & coffee pot with supplies).

ROOM WITH A VIEW is a cozy upstairs room, has a gorgeous view of some of the Hill Country from a large upstairs porch, and is a perfect room for 2. This wonderful Texas bed and breakfast room was added to the Kuebler Waldrip Haus B&B in 1996 during the addition of the common room area. The wood in this room is from a residence in Gruene Texas.
This is a popular room for a single person traveling or for a couple wanting to getaway during the weekdays or weekend. Room with A View has a king size bed, a shower bath, TV, antique rocker, a shared kitchenette with a sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and marble countertop.

THE EAST ROOM is a wonderful upstairs room with a great view of the hill country and trees. We added this room after adjusting the downstairs by adding support beams for the upstairs. The carpenter also added a dormer making room for the baths and more space.

THE DANVILLE SCHOOL ROOM SUITE

THE DANVILLE 2-ROOM SUITE sleeps 2-4 guests. This includes the Sweet Retreat and the Danville School Room which are side-by-side to each other. The Sweet Retreat is a new small downstairs room with a king bed with a shower bath and the Danville School room has a queen bed with a marble Jacuzzi bath. The shower bath in the Sweet Retreat Room has a handicapped accessible bath that is level with the floor and has a folding shower seat.
Danville School Room is our largest downstairs room (864 sq. ft.), retains the beautiful original wood ceiling, walls and floor. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a piano, and the original blackboard -- which children AND adults enjoy! It has a full kitchen, private entrance, private whirlpool bath, a queen bed, wide-screen TV, VCR, DVD, phone, refrigerator, microwave, a fully equipped kitchen, copper counter top, table and chairs, covered porch on 2 sides, ceiling fans, and Heat/AC. Ask about the before and after pictures! Rate for 2-4 people is $350.00. Sleeps up to 4 people max.
SWEET RETREAT ROOM

SWEET RETREAT ROOM is a small downstairs room that has approximately 300 sq. ft. Two sides of the original Danville Schoolhouse building porches have been closed-in to make bedrooms, and this is one of the bedrooms. is newly built and has a kitchenette, a writing desk, saltillo tile floor with throw rugs, shutters for privacy, and heat, AC, TV with VCR, and closet. **Rent this room with the schoolroom as a suite - please ask about the rate.
Sweet Retreat Amenities:
Location: downstairs
Sleeps: 1-2 guests with a maximum of 2 guests
Beds: 1 king width bed
Baths: a certified handicapped shower with a fold-down seat
Appliances: refrigerator, microwave and telephone
This room does not have a porch. Guests are welcome to use a table and chairs near by or some of our lounge furniture. Soak up some sun or star gaze. One of our cats may join you.

This is a very popular room.

Rates, Policies & Guest Information
COMMON ROOM - is a large downstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building that is open to all of our guests anytime. Guests may access our common room that has a large sitting area with leather seating, a wonderful book and video library, wireless internet, table games, cards, or just relax. Food and refreshments including homemade snacks, drinks, and Texas Blue Bell Ice Cream are always available. Add Amaretto, chocolate syrup, or make a coke float. The common room is always open, so please make yourselves welcome.
As our guest, you are welcome to watch TV in your room or come down to our common room where there is a 42" widescreen HD TV. Outside amenities that our guests enjoy include our playground, picnic tables, BBQ pit, fishing pond (please bring your fishing gear), and amazing star gazing "deep in the heart of Texas". Texas wildlife that can be found here are deer, birds, racoon, fox, porcupine, fish (bass, catfish, perch, crawfish, turtles, and more) and wild cats (bobcat, ringtail, skunk, and cougar).
Each reservation includes access to our common room, complimentary refreshments, and our large full breakfast. All of our rooms have a king or queen size bed (some of the rooms have multiple beds), a private bath, private entrance, and many amenities. Please see each room for what amenities are located in each of our wonderful rooms.
SMOKING POLICY: ** All rooms are no smoking, however, we do allow smoking on the porch outside. Please pick up all butts and place in the trash. Thank you.
PETS: Owners pets live on site and they include a total 9 cats. There are 5 adult cats and 4 kittens.
PET POLICY: Please understand that we are limited in the number of rooms that we allow pets in because of the carpet in some of our rooms and because of the closeness of some of our rooms. For the comfort of our guests traveling with a pet, we allow pets in the Deer Haven Cottage. If you are bringing a pet, it must be prearrange when making your reservation. The Deer Haven Cottage is our pet designated room for pets from 1-25 lbs. A pet fee of $20 per pet per night will be charged. All of the rooms in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building and the Danville Schoolhouse buildings are no pets allowed. The following rates apply to the Kuebler Waldrip Haus and Danville Schoolhouse Buildings.
NIGHTLY RATES: Rates with breakfast range from $135 - $350 per night for 2 people. Extra guests in a room: each added child (ages 3-17) is $20.00, and each added adult (18 and older) is $30.00 . Pets: each pet add $20 each per night.To check available rooms and/or book a room:

The Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast property, a Texas Bed and Breakfast, is uniquely set up in such a way that the owners and innkeepers, Margy and Darrell Waldrip, have the flexibility to take either individual room reservations or group reservations (2 or more rooms).
SUMMARY OF ROOM RATES: Current nightly room rates range from $125.00-$205.00 for 1 to 2 guests.
If the room you have choosen can sleep added guests, the following rate apply: $30 per extra adult (18 and older) and $20 per child (ages 3-17).
TYPES OF RESERVATIONS:
A individual room reservation is the rental of one room for 2 or a family of 3, 4, or up to 5 people.
Requirements: All individual reservations must be a firm reservation and are guaranteed with a name, address, cell phone, time of arrival, the number of guests, a valid credit card and payment due upon arrival.
Individual room cancellation policy: Individual room reservation cancellations 21 day or more prior to dates reserved will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee for each room cancelled. Guests cancelling individual room reservations less than 21 days prior to dates reserved are responsible for full payment of dates reserved (via credit card given to us as a guarantee) unless the room can be re-rented to replace the time and room(s) reserved. Cancellations will be accepted by phone only (no voice mail, fax, or email cancellations). Please check about our rain policy. No shows and guests departing in advance of the last day of the reservation will be charged for the full time reserved. Please reserve only the dates that you plan to keep.
Group reservation is the rental of 2 or more rooms.
All group reservations must also be firm reservations and must call for a quote, requirements, and policies.
Group Deposit Required: A 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid within 14 days after the reservation is made. We can take your reservation and hold the reservation with the coordinators name, address, cell phone, valid credit card, number of guests, times of arrival, room assignments, and if anyone in the group has any dietary needs. Thank you. It is best of the coordinator will "coordinate" the collection of the deposits and then send them all at the same time. This will lessen any confusion.
Group Cancellation Policy: The group reserving has made a commitment to the reservation once the reservation is made. The deposit is non-refudable, so if the reservation is cancelled, the deposit is forfeited. Because we are a small business, please make reservations only for the dates that you plan to keep. Thank you.
