The Independence Day festival in Lubbock is held on July 4th and is the largest free festival in Texas. Favorite eateries include the Chez Suzett, which is known for their uncommonly delicious French cuisine and the Tokyo Steakhouse which has excellent hibachi and great service in a warm atmosphere.
