Walden Plantation overlooks the Llano River and offers spectacular views and peace and quiet. Our 17 acres of landscaped grounds include a pool and hot tub, an amphitheater, a dining area and more. Walden Plantation can accommodate from 1 to 32 people. We have 16 rooms including a two-story suite.

The secluded, peaceful atmosphere of Walden Plantation creates the perfect backdrop for your romantic getaway, wedding, family reunion, corporate retreat, seminar, or special event. Events booked at Walden Plantation may enjoy exclusive use of the property during their duration if desired.

The surroundings are elegant, the rooms are romantic - and the food's pretty good too. Come on down to the dining area for your gourmet breakfast or sit in the shade and have a burger, a chicken sandwich or a cold drink. Jump in the pool. Dip your feet in the river. Stroll the grounds. Sip a cool drink on a shaded balcony. You can do as much or as little as you want.

A Full breakfast is included with room rate and is served in the dining room from: 8 - 10 a.m. Lunch is available for $9 and up. Additional food services included in room rate: Beer and Wine, Mini bar in room, Soft drinks, water etc. Special meals are available. Our signature dish is Cora Walden's famous SOS Country gravy with lean beef over toast or biscuits. Served with bacon, eggs to choice, fruit, juice, etc.

The Llano River in all her glory. You can view this peaceful stream from your balcony or walk down to the bank and listen to her soft song as she bubbles and gurgles along. If you weren't relaxed already, the pool and hot tub will do the trick. We're the only bed and breakfast we've ever heard of that have our own amphitheater. This is a great spot for a concert, a wedding, a family reunion or even a corporate event.

There's something about a kayak that makes you one with the water. Being one with the Llano River is quite an experience to remember. Rental kayaks are available to guests for just this purpose. The Llano River is a well-known fly fishing haven. Rental equipment is available or bring your own. Private lessons can be arranged at your request.

NO FACILTY CHARGE when reserving all rooms. Includes 48 hours use of 50' x 100' Covered and Lighted Outdoor Amphitheater and 16' x 24' Covered and Lighted Outdoor Pavilion. Other areas of the grounds and facility usage can be arranged and discussed with management. Does not include staff, clean-up, set-up, music, projector, kitchen usage, electronics, heaters, a/c coolers, etc.

Deposit and Fees     
$ 500.00 deposit and fees as outlined above.
Deposit required at time of booking and will not be refunded if event is cancelled at anytime. Deposit will be refunded when facility is cleaned and returned to its original state. Room policies and cancellations as noted on website under "house policies". Fees as outlined above and paid in full one month in advance of event. If cancellation of event occurs, deposit will not be refunded and fees will be refunded at 50%. Room cancellations are explained under "house policies" on website.
