    Welcome to Ethridge Farm Bed and Breakfast. Located in the heart of the Texas Big Thicket, we offer secluded private log cabins and suites that are perfect for a family retreat or romantic getaway. Choose from the Historic Blueberry Hill, Romantic Barn Hideaway, Rustic Deer Run, Log Cabin Lodge or Bedroom Suite. All stays include a delicious home-cooked real Texas country breakfast.

    Sit back, relax, and enjoy the country life at Ethridge Farm with old fashioned porch swings, wooden rocking chairs, a sauna, and huge outdoor deck. If you love the outdoors, you'll enjoy hiking our nature trails, fishing at the pond or picking your own fruit from our orchard. We like to give you a bag of fruit, that you have picked, as a memory of your visit to the Farm. Although secluded in the woods, Ethridge Farm B&B is only a short distance from shopping, activities, and local attractions such as the Big Thicket National Preserve.

    Ethridge Farm offers five choices in accommodations, each with its own unique history. All are decorated with antiques and memorabilia and include heat and air conditioning, TV/DVD player, private baths, use of the deck, and breakfast. During your stay, you are welcome to fish at the pond, hike the nature trails, and pick fruit in the orchard - all right here on the grounds.

    Historic Blueberry Hill: Private cabin built in the 1900's, with 2 bedrooms it sleeps up to 4 people. Includes living room with TV/DVD player; snack kitchen with table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven; front porch with swing.

    Rustic Barn Hideaway: This private accommodation is an annex to the real barn and includes private bath; roomy master bedroom with king-size bed and sitting room. The perfect romantic getaway for two.

    Romantic Deer Run: Private cabin that sleeps up to 4 people
    with a queen-size bed and two twin beds. An enclosed outdoor shower, roomy living area, snack kitchen, front porch with swing and enclosed sun deck.

    The Log Cabin Lodge
    This historic cabin sleeps up to 4 with king-size bed and two daybeds. Includes a cozy living area with huge stone
    fireplace and comfortable furniture; beautiful sun porch with seating and dining area; private bath; front porch with old
    fashioned rockers and swing; and a large outdoor deck with spa.

    When you visit Ethridge Farm, breakfast is included with your room package and served each morning in the Lodge dining room. We also offer optional country dinners in the Lodge and romantic gourmet candlelight dinners, delivered directly to your accommodations. Choose from a delicious variety of home-cooked dishes made fresh from the kitchen of Ann Ethridge. Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the beautiful Lodge dining room. Please make one selection for your group.

    Wake up to birds singing and a real Texas country breakfast with your choice of:

    Homemade Biscuits with Mayhaw jelly or our Special Fruit of the Season
    Grits or Hashbrowns
    Juice and Coffee
    Don't forget to try the Mayhaw jelly - made from the native Mayhaw berry found only in Texas and a few Southern states, it's part of the unique experience of visiting the Big Thicket area.


    Country Dinner

    With notice a great country dinner is available for $21.00 per person with your choice of Brisket, Chicken, Pork, or Fish as the entree. I will select the rest of the meal depending on what is in season. A starch, vegetable, salad and dessert - unless there is some food you cannot eat or something you really want to order (please let me know).

    Candlelight Dinner

    Is this a special occasion? We will bring a lovely gourmet candlelight dinner to your accommodations for $28.00 per person. The gourmet dinner menu includes your choice of beef, chicken, pork, or fish with bread, vegetables, salad and dessert. Please let us know in advance. You are welcome to bring wine for dinner.

    Other Amenities

    The outdoor spa comes with the Log Cabin Lodge - an additional $15.00 is added to other accommodations - if spa is requested with advance notice. Be sure to experience the fun of fishing or picking your own fruit (in season). Just part of country life! We like to give you a bag of fruit, that you have picked, as a memory of your visit to the Farm. Fruits include: Blueberries, Mayhaws, Pears, Muscadines, Satsumas, Lemons & Kumquats. You are free to enjoy hiking the nature paths and exploring the woods during your stay.

    Area Information

    When planning your trip to Ethridge Farm Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast, you'll want to schedule time to visit some of the great attractions found in the Big Thicket area. You'll find everything from historical and natural sites to art, shopping, dining and even an Indian Reservation.

    The Big Thicket National Preserve is one of the most popular attractions in the area and is located just down the road from the Farm. The Preserve is home to hundreds of unique species of wildlife and natural wetlands. You can hike, bike, and enjoy other fun and educational activities with the new visitor center.

    Canoeing along Village Creek, the Neches River, or through the Big Thicket is one of the most popular activities for visitors. Several area canoe outfitters offer the options of renting you own canoes for the day or signing up for one of their guided tours.

    Ethridge Farm is only a short distance from the towns of Kountze, Lumberton, Beaumont, and Silsbee, Texas, which offer shopping, dining and other activities. Silsbee has a great water park for the kids.

    Several festivals and events are held throughout the year such as the antique car show, the 4-wheeler Mud Fest, old fashioned Cane Syrup Making, monthly Trade Days and more.

    Beautiful golf courses, gorgeous bicycle trails, horseback riding, bird watching, canoeing, fishing, hunting and hiking are a few of the activities available for the outdoor enthusiast.
