Décor of the Inn is best described as Country Chic, blending yesterday's charm with today's technology! The inn has 9' ceilings, antique doors, original wood-paned windows, extensive molding, light colored walls, beautiful dark brown hard wood floors (oak downstairs and wide plank pine upstairs), & sweeping verandas. Yet guests have the convenience of free wireless DSL connectivity, flat-screen TV with cable, walk-in closet with a mini-frig stocked with complimentary drinks, and private baths with both a shower and tub - some with whirlpool tubs!

Garden Manor Bed and Breakfast, a smoke-free environment, provides several private areas for guests: a parlor, formal dining room, and 3 verandas with patio tables and seating. Amenities include nightly turndown service with chocolate truffles, and full-course plantation breakfast. Breakfast service may be scheduled from 7 - 9 a.m. during the week with Saturday and Sunday breakfast served at 9 a.m.

The outdoor historic gardens are introduced throughout the décor of the Inn and each guestroom is designed in a garden theme: Country French, English Rose, Colonial West Indies, and the Classic Cottage. These four bedrooms, each with a private bath with tub/shower combination, are located upstairs and open to a hall with a sweeping veranda that overlooks the tranquil grounds. Garden Manor also has a downstairs guestroom called the Carriage House which provides beautiful views of the back lawn gardens and luxurious amenities.

Each guestroom is furnished with either a queen-size, California king-size bed or king-size bed. All rooms have a sound machine, ceiling fan, a flat-screen TV with cable, and free wireless DSL connectivity.

Guestrooms have a walk-in closet with ironing board & iron as well as a mini-frig stocked with complimentary bottled spring water and your favorite soft drinks. Individual coffee makers are in the rooms for the convenience of guests who like their caffeine prior to breakfast!

Guestrooms have a private bath equipped with a whirlpool or antique claw-foot tub with shower, heated towel rack, blow dryer, and garden-scented bath products.

The Carriage House has the additional, unique features: king-size bed, 42” plasma TV with DVD/Blu Ray player, individual control for AC/Heating, table and chairs for in-room dining, and a larger bathroom with a whirlpool tub/shower for 2, tumbled marble counters with a built-in vanity/stool, ceiling fan, and an oversized walk-in closet with large mini-frig with freezer department.

On the weekends an early morning hot beverage service in the parlor so guests may leisurely enjoy coffee or tea in your room or on the veranda. A full course breakfast is served at 9 a.m. in the guest private dining room. For stays booked during the work week, breakfast may be scheduled as early as 7 a.m. on the half hour with last seating at 9 a.m.

Rates are based upon room selection with maximum occupancy of 2 persons. Single-occupancy rates are available during the work week for business and leisure travel.

The Rose Garden is designed for these functions with its flagstone patios, crushed granite pathways, antique wrought gazebo, and lush flower beds with mature trees wrapped in tiny white lights. Other enhancements include a 1600 sq. ft. dance floor, outdoor sound system, and a Garden Room with 2 sets of French doors that open to the Rose Garden and to the side patio & stone driveway.

Our location is ideal for weddings with our being less than 7 miles from DFW International Airport and only 20 miles to either Dallas or Ft. Worth. We commit the Inn and our team exclusively to your wedding as Garden Manor only hosts one wedding per weekend. Our packages are designed to be stress free and provide you with options to ensure your special day is perfect. The Inn features a garden room for food service, a wrought iron gazebo with chandelier for vow exchange, flagstone patios and a 36’ x 38’ dance floor with an outdoor sound system. The gazebo and trees are wrapped in tiny white lights to provide ambiance!
