Come and relax among the centuries old Live Oak and Pecan trees, tranquil gardens, and beautifully manicured lawns. Rock your cares away on your favorite verandah while sipping your favorite beverage. Just imagine soaking in the crisp clean air of a new day as the world awakens while sipping a hot cup of gourmet coffee or taking in a colorful south Texas sunset with your favorite glass of wine.

    Just where to enjoy the ambience of Belle Oaks will probably be your most difficult decision. You have a choice of relaxing on the front veranda or expansive sturdy balcony facing west both presenting an optimum view of the colorful sunset. You may prefer the large comfortable rockers on the southern veranda overlooking the formal garden and fountain, or chaise lounges on the stone terrace surrounding the Koi pond, fountain, and sparkling pool.

    Guests at Belle Oaks Inn are invited to enjoy our generous gourmet breakfast in the ambience of our elegantly appointed dining room. You can choose from a wide selection of baked goods such as our own signature Southern Brunch Casserole or Belle Oaks Inn Pecan Orange Bread which has become a favorite of our guests, many who will ask for it each time they return! We also offer a selection of fresh fruit and juices, yogurt, flavored herbal and spiced teas, hot chocolate, hot spiced cider and gourmet coffee and espresso.

    If you prefer more casual dining, you may choose to enjoy your breakfast while you look over the morning news in the bright cheerful breakfast room. Breakfast is available from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and is self serve so you may enjoy it when you choose. If you are just not a morning person, all rooms are equipped with a coffeemaker and stocked with gourmet coffee. And, you are more than welcome to take your breakfast back to be savored in your own room.

    Belle Oaks Inn is located in historic Gonzales, the "Birthplace of Texas Independence."

    If you are interested in Texas history, Gonzales is a wonderful destination. Throughout the town and the surrounding countryside
    are dozens of historically significant locations, many marked by historical markers. Here is a short list of some of them:

    • The monument, near the banks of the Guadalupe River, to the "Old Eighteen," the men who refused to turn over the town's cannon to the Mexican Army.
    • The monument at Cost depicting the first shot fired in the Texas Revolution.
    • The monument and reflecting pool, at the Gonzales Memorial Museum, honoring the "Immortal Thirty-Two," the only men to reinforce the Alamo.
    • The bronze sculpture in "Texas Heroes Square" honoring the heroes in the fight for Texas independence.
    • "Pioneer Village," a collection of historic structures located north of town near the remains of an earthen Confederate fort.
    • And dozens of historic buildings and homes.
