King's Court
King's Court is a lovely, regal room richly decorated in traditional style with deep tones and textures. Velvet swags are draped over striped mesh sheer curtains, accenting the King sized-bed centered among the five windows of this kingly room. Two comfortable chairs allow guests to have cozy conversation or the TV/ VCR/DVD/SAT will play entertainment late into the evening. A luxurious, two-person Jacuzzi tub in the private bathroom finalizes any romantic evening before you fall asleep in this secluded room. $125 per night.
Tree Top Suite
The "Tree Top" Suite is a very large 700 square foot suite encompassing the entire third floor and is decorated with antiques and international treasures from our time living overseas. The ambience of an electric fireplace with an Oak finish Mantel adds a warm glow to your stay. The suite has two sitting areas, a TV/VCR/DVD with satellite connections and a coffee bar area with small microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. A "turret" room with six large windows gives a breathtaking view of the woods at "Tree Top" level. There is a queen-size bed in one corner window alcove and two futon couches in two other window alcoves that make into double beds. The suite is ideal for a couple wanting a private romantic getaway or friends who want to share a room. The suite has a large, private bathroom with shower only. Pricing begins at $115.00 per night, based on double occupancy. ($15/person after the first two people, maximum six). Inquire for further details.

Room With A View
Room with a View is romantic in style with comforting rose colors, garden florals, and an old-fashioned tin-look ceiling. Six large lace-covered bay windows surrounding a beautiful queen size bed provide a lovely view of the woods. A wood-burning fireplace adds intimacy to the room while hats of old, the owner's hand-made wedding dress and antique pictures bring character from days long past. There is a full, private bathroom. $105.00 per night.

Amish Room
The "Amish Room" is quaint and simple in style with its rich pine flooring, handmade quilt and Amish tapestry wall hanging. An antique armoire mirrors the full-sized bed and holds house robes for guests. Shaker chairs were adopted into the decor along with several Amish dolls, pictures and mementos to enrich the character of the room. The private bathroom for this small, cozy room is across the hall and has a shower only. $65.00 per night.

The Canopy Room

The Canopy Room is graciously inviting with a queen-size, golden maple canopy bed that is accented with a matching antique maple dresser. The Maple finish Mantel with an electric fireplace adds warmth and glow to this charming room. Rose-colored glass-beaded lamps sit on specialty end tables giving a soft glow to the floral wallpaper and the finishing touches of this romantic room. A brass- studded trunk from Kuwait sits between two over-stuffed lounging chairs and a footstool for the ultimate relaxation. It has a full, private bathroom. $95.00 per night.
Cowboy Quarters
Cowboy Quarters is a Texas fun and fanciful favorite with bandana curtains hanging from "singletree" curtain rods and red bandanas bordering over blue plank wainscot walls. A colorful red and navy quilted bedspread accents a handmade queen size wrought-iron bed with the state of Texas centered between horseshoes on the head- and foot-boards. Relax with a good book or conversation in the custom-made willow loveseat or wrought-iron padded chair as you enjoy the glow and warmth from the electric fireplace. There is a full, private bathroom.
$95.00 per night.  
 

Guest House
Down the driveway from the Main House is a two-story, three bedroom Guest House with a large screened front porch. In addition to the latest in heating and A/C service, there is a highly efficient wood-burning stove with a glass front to provide the warmth for romantic winter evenings. Whether staying for a night, several days, or weeks, this Guest House provides all the necessities, including linens, towels and complete laundry facilities. There is a fully equipped kitchen where guests bring their own groceries so they can prepare their meals. (Self-serve continental-plus breakfast included.) A large living/dining area offers a warm environment to visit, read or watch the flickering fire, plus it has a queen-size sofa bed for extra sleeping. An entertainment center houses a TV/VCR/DVD with a large selection of movies for selection from the Main House.  And downstairs there is a half bath. Upstairs, the Guest House has a large bathroom that serves three private bedrooms: The "Floral Garden Room" is the largest, with two captain chairs, a queen bed and a large closet; the "Cardinal Room" and "Quilt Room" both have full-sized beds. Families with children are welcome at the Guest House, which can sleep up to eight people.

Country Cottage
"Country Cottage" is a secluded, sunny one-story bungalow tucked in the woods just a short walk from the hot tub, swimming pool and gazebo of the Main House. Enjoy the covered porch that spans the full length of the cottage while watching for deer or bunnies crossing through the beautiful woods or from the large screen door on those refreshing 'lazy days.' A cozy, fully equipped kitchen provides the opportunity for guests to prepare all their own meals with the groceries they bring. (Self-serve continental-plus breakfast included.) The cheerful breakfast nook provides a lovely view of the woods. Heated and air-conditioned, it has one cozy bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. The living area has a queen sofa bed and loveseat along with a TV/VCR/DVD and a stereo system with cassette and CD capability.  Also, there is a Propane grill for your outdoor cooking enjoyment. Country Cottage is $135.00 per night for the first two guests; additional guests are $15.00 each, maximum of 4 guests. Self-serve continental-plus breakfast included. (Ask about extended stay discounts.)

Alexander Bed and Breakfast provides a smoke free environment for guests, allowing smoking outside only.
Children are welcome in the Guest House and the Country Cottage.
We have two outdoor cats and dogs so for the harmony of all the animals we do not accept additional pets.

All rates are based on double occupancy, plus 6% Hotel Tax, unless proof of exemption. One-night's prepaid lodging is required for reservations and may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover. Business rates available Monday- Thursday. Special rates available for pastors, active military, policemen, firemen and extended-stays.

Cancellation Policy: Within 7 days of arrival date we regret that there are no refunds or credits for late arrivals, early departures or cancellations; guest is responsible for full value of entire reservation.
Group Reservations require a 25% deposit by check on the estimated total at the time the reservation is made. Thirty-day cancellation notice is required for refund, less a $50.00 planning & handling fee. Cancellation of less than 30 days prior to the event forfeits the deposit
All rates are subject to a 6% hotel tax levied by the State of Texas and a 5% service charge.
