  • Texas Hospitality Awaits You

Named for the enigmatic girlfriend of the Sundance Kid, Etta's Place provides a hideout even the Wild Bunch would be proud of - in the heart of the action, yet hidden away with views of the square for quick getaways.  Perched on the second floor of the landmark building housing Reata restaurant, Etta's Place captures the feel of a southern home and a prestigious private club.  With just ten guest quarters, the inn caters to discriminating travelers preferring personal service, privacy, well-appointed accommodations and the best location in the city.   Located in downtown Fort Worth's historic Sundance Square, Etta's Place is within walking distance of over 25 restaurants, 3 live performance theaters, 2 comedy clubs as well as various retail shops and night clubs.

A full complimentary breakfast is served each morning in a beautiful sun-filled dining room or its adjacent balcony patio.  To wash away the trail dust, spacious bathrooms are featured in each guest room.  All of the bedrooms at Etta's Place are outfitted with flat screen cable televisions, in-room voice mail telephones, terry robes, ironing boards, lap desks and blow dryers.  Wireless internet is available throughout the property and in guest rooms.

Guests at Etta's Place are treated like honored family friends.  Preferences are noted, names are remembered, and a friendly smile welcomes you back time after time.  Experience genuine hospitality in the city that perfected it more than a century ago.

Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

They are looking for a unique experience outside the standard hotel.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

We are best known for having a unique property in a commercial building. We have lovely balcony and atrium patios located on the second floor of the building and our property spans two buildings and three and one half floors. The Honeymoon Suite is actually located at the top of the fire exit stairwell, private and secluded.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

Fort Worth is the city of Cowboys and Culture. We have preserved our heritage carved from the beginning of cattle trails and Westward expansion while looking to our future we are fortunate to offer several world class museums along with an accomplished performing arts community.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

We get many comments that our architecture is so unexpected and interesting and that our location is supreme.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

Etta’s Place is the best kept secret in Sundance Square. Once found, people threaten not to tell anyone else because they want to ensure they have a room next time they come.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

There’s a long list! Enjoy the 35 block area known as Sundance Square and take in performances at the Bass Hall, Jubilee or Circle Theaters, visit the historic Stockyards and take in a real rodeo and the Cultural District for our world-class museums and equestrian shows.

    The best is www.sundancesquare.com.

How many rooms does your inn have?

    We have 10 rooms.
