The Oak Cottage, provides a secluded, country retreat available for a private holiday getaway or extended vacation stay. A spacious room with a cathedral ceiling and hand drawn cedar beams offer a great view through a large picture window to watch the wildlife. The hand textured and gauze painted walls give a natural glow, which enhances the warmth and soft light radiated by the pine walls. Queen size bed, shower in bathroom, and an exclusive (not private) hot tub located outside about 50' away. After a day exploring all the Texas Hill Country has to offer, return to the Oak Cottage for a quiet evening, a candlelight dinner and a restful night's sleep. There is no phone or TV in this cottage. $169 per evening (2-night minimum stay on the weekends).

This little Texas guest house rental was built in 1908; we moved it in and restored it. The soft colors and florals create a tranquil retreat. It has a spacious sitting room, kitchenette, large bath with double Jacuzzi tub. The stairway leads you up to a loft bedroom with a queen iron bed. The double French doors take you out to a sitting deck to enjoy the sunrise or quiet evening. After a day exploring, return to the Wildrose Retreat for a quiet evening, a candlelight dinner and a restful night's sleep. Rate: $169 per night.

This spacious room has become one of our most popular rooms. The bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress for a great nights sleep. The living room/ kitchen has a comfortable couch that may be used for a day bed, the sitting area and the dining area look out over the pond. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, 2 burner cook top, microwave, coffee maker and sink. The bath has a large tiled shower for two. Unique to the Cottonwood accommodations is a beautiful landscaped area that shelters an outdoor hot tub exclusive (not private) for the Cottonwood guest. Sit on the front porch and be soothed by the sound of the cottonwood tree rustling in the breeze. This room does have a satellite TV. A full hot breakfast is served to your room.

Have a romantic weekend getaway in this 1955, 40' Spartan Park Home. This was the top of the line in it's time. We have restored it back to its fun Vintage 50's look with the original Frigidaire refrigerator, great vintage décor & beautiful birch wood walls. The private bedroom has a full bed with a comfy memory foam topped mattress. The small bathroom has a quaint shower and little ceramic toilet. A bunk room with 2 bunk beds, the kitchen and living/dining room adjoin to create a fun stay for your Hill Country getaway. The outdoor patio has been built using bricks from the original JC Penney building from downtown Brownwood, TX. Step back in time and enjoy a fun Texas Bed and Breakfast experience in Room 55. This one is great for girlfriend getaways. A full breakfast is delivered to your room. There is a TV, microwave, coffeemaker & refrigerator and ac/heat. Sure to bring a smile to your face and rest to your soul.

The Willowbend is a tranquil floral accented garden room with soft yellow walls and a stained concrete floor. The little garden table sits in front of the double window to look out over the pond while you enjoy your breakfast. A queen bed will be cozy for a great night's rest. The spacious bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub for 2. There is a small refrigerator and coffee maker & a TV. Relax in the Willow chairs on the front porch to enjoy looking at the lily pond. Rate: $149 per evening.

Whether you are coming for a Romantic weekend getaway or for an extended stay, you will leave our Texas Hill Country B&B relaxed and refreshed. Each cottage at our secluded lodging has a unique decor, heat & air, music and candles, some with large romantic Jacuzzi tubs for two to enjoy on your honeymoon and lots of privacy abound. All rooms will require a 2-night minimum on major holiday weekends.

• Due to the nature of our property, we are not set up for children, however, we will work with you if wanting to stay in the Dancing Buffalo Lodge, as just one parent and one child for a special time together. Please call for this information: 800-850-2003.
• Check in is any time after 3 p.m. / Check out is 12 noon.
• All rooms are smoke free.
• Small pets are allowed only in the Oak Cottage with a $10 fee.
• Reservations are held with a credit card.
• Balance will be due upon your stay, preferred payment with Cash or Check.
• Cancellations received 7 days before arrival will receive a refund, less a $15 handling fee.
• Those cancelling inside 7 days, the full charge will be made, unless we can rebook your room.
• Please understand when you cancel, we loose our income and can not make up a night once it has passed.
