Star of Texas Inn

Room 10 is the only room with an external entrance, so it is a little more private than other rooms. It has a queen size bed and four windows, three of which face south. The lighting is very nice during the day, and the blinds are quite thick! The bathroom has a shower.

Room 11

Room 11 is downstairs, near the dining room, parlor and the main entrance. An ornate queen iron bed is the main feature of the room, but it also has a desk and an very nice wardorobe. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and shower.

Room 14 is at the top of the stairs. This is our nicest room with a queen bed. This room has a view of the University of Texas tower. It is a good view, especially if one of the school's academic or athletic teams does well - they light it up in different schemes of orange and white. 14 also has a door to the balcony. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and shower.

Room 15

Room 15 is upstairs, at the end of the south hall. This room has a queen bed, and decent view of the UT tower. We were really lucky getting the matching chair, coverlet and lamp. The bathroom has a clawfoot and shower combination.

Room 16

Room 16 is upstairs, across from 15. 16 has a king size bed and wooden floors in good shape. The bathroom has a shower.

Room 17

Room 17 is upstairs, immediately to the right of the stairs. It is ideal for people traveling alone. The bed is twin sized, but the room is more than large enough for one person, and comes with all of the usual furniture and amenities. The bathroom has a shower. It seems to be impossible to get a good picture of the bed, so here is one of the wardrobe.

Room 18

Room 18 is in the attic. It has a king size bed, a queen size futon and lots of room. This room is ideal for groups of 3 or 4. The bath has a clawfoot tub and a shower.
