'Music Man of the Mountains, Lunsford is honored by the Smithsonian. Country Parlor decor of the 1940's. The Kensington Suite
This ornately-decorated suite has furnishings by two well known British names - Paul Burrell, a personal footman to Queen Elizabeth and later secretary to Princess Diana, and the late Princess Diana's brother, Charles Spencer, the Ninth Earl of Spencer, both of whom Jim Hind, the owner, met. Paul Burrell fashioned the room's headboard after the gate at Kensington Palace where he and Princess Diana lived. Other furnishings come from the Althorp Living Collection, with replicas of furniture found at Althorp, the ancestral home of Lord Spencer, and the final resting place of Princess Diana.

Richmont Inn in the style of an Appalachian cantilevered barn, has majestic views of the smokies from private balconies, wood burning fireplaces and hot tubs for two, award winning food and eleven acres of private grounds on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
All stays include occupancy for two, with full "sit down and relax" breakfasts, afternoon tea with sweet treats, gourmet desserts and coffee by candlelight, deluxe private baths, in-room hair dryers, coffee makers and Wi-Fi onsite.

Richmont Inn's Main Lodge
Floors one and two are uniquely appointed, with themes of historical characters of East Tennessee, adorned with fine antiques, artwork, and colorful fabrics. While romantic music fills the air, these luxurious rooms can nurture the mood and refresh the spirit with inspiring mountain views, whirlpools for two, and wood-burning fireplaces. Your stay comes with complimentary desert by candlelight, or you and your Sweetie may chose to take your desert in your room.
Our third floor we call "Sacred Ground" honoring Native Americans. These suites dedicated to the memory of eminent Native Americans especially the Cherokee. Decorated in Native American decor, well-suited for groups of 6-8 people occupying three rooms, you may choose to socialize in the larger Nancy Ward room, or the common area, an adjacent sitting room and library.

Policies
- If you would prefer to call to reserve your room, you may do so at 866-267-7086.
- Reservation Policy: At the time of your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the lodging costs for your entire stay will be due, excluding taxes.
- Payment Policy: We will accept Visa, Master Card, and bank debit cards for your convenience. Note: Being a small family business, we prefer cash or check as a deposit and upon checkout, and those that use these payment methods qualify for a quarterly drawing for a free night in a full amenity room.
- Cancellation Policy: Your deposit, less $40 per room booked, will only be returned if we receive your cancellation request at least 15 days prior to your arrival. Of course, there is no deduction from your deposit if you reschedule or we/you have someone else use reservation. If the cancellation is within 14 days of your arrival date, you will be charged for the full amount of your deposit, excluding taxes, and a gift certificate will be issued in your name for your future use. Please understand this policy is necessary because of the narrow time frame to rebook and no "walk-ins" to fill your cancelled room.
- Children: 7 years or older are welcome and in some situations during the year, we can welcome younger children; but please keep in mind that we have no television and no computer games available for children.

- Smoking Policy: The state of Tennessee now prohibits smoking throughout the buildings. We have set aside other convenient areas for smoking.
- Spirits: We have an extensive wine and beer list, most likely your favorites at reasonable prices, as well as cordials with dessert coffee.
