The Lodge at Deer Run is a 7,000+ sq-ft lodge just 10 miles out of historic, downtown Franklin, TN, nestled within the serenity of the woods and provides a haven for rest, rejuvenation, and renewal. All rooms have great views of the surrounding woods.Each of the seven guest rooms has a private bath and is well-appointed with lodge décor. Individual room pricing for B&B guests is based on two persons per room and includes breakfast for two. Additional persons per room are $30 each.
There are approximately five miles of wooded hiking and mountain bike trails that wind throughout the 100 acres of property including a trail around Spring Valley Lake.
The entire lodge can be reserved as a private setting for day or overnight retreats. meetings, family reunions, and/or birthday parties. Deer Run staff coordinate with you to customize your retreat.

Why do most travelers stay at your inn? Guests stay here to celebrate a special occasion or to have a unique get-away with family or friends.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn? Our lodge is located on 100 wooded scenic acres in a quiet private setting providing a restful, secluded place for a retreat. However, we are only 10-15 miles from many shopping areas, restaurants, and music/art venues.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit? Historical downtown with unique shops and restaurants, great local music, historical theater for movies & concerts, and annual festivals throughout the year.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn? The Lodge at Deer Run is a peaceful wooded setting which feels like you are far from everything yet you are only 10 miles from historical downtown Franklin which has many unique shops and restaurants. The lodge is much like a Montana-type lodge yet upscale. The Deer Run staff is welcoming and friendly and make guests feel "at home." The customer service is excellent and the breakfast is fabulous.
What’s the best kept secret about the area? Our county is within a day's drive of 75 percent of the U.S. And our town (Franklin) has been named one of the top 10 downtowns in America (2010), and its Main Street was named one of five Most Romantic Main Streets in America (National Trust for Historical Preservation, 2011.)
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area? Tour many historical areas including civil war battlefields and homes (Carnton Plantation & Carter House), visit any of the 35 parks in the area, drive the Natchez Trace, shop at historical Leiper's Fork, listen to live musicians at local restaurants, visit Arrington Vineyards, and take in a live show at a local theater, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), Schermerhorn (Nashville Symphony), or Grand Ole Opry. (There are many many more options too numerous to mention.)
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn? No shops or restaurants are within walking distance. We are 10 miles from downtown Franklin and 20 minutes from Spring Hill and Cool Springs/Brentwood where there are numerous shops and restaurants.
