"Everyone was friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast prepared for us was the best breakfast we have ever had. The cook was so friendly and gracious. She also made us feel so at home. We loved our room. We loved the porch. Our only complaint was that we could not stay one more night. It truly is 'God's Country'.
It was so nice to have the snacks and bottled water in our room. The value was extraordinary. We actually enjoyed not having a TV. This was our first trip since the unexpected death of our dear friend and traveling companion. We sat out on the porch till late in the evening reliving past trips and memories. This was something we probably would not have done if there was a TV. We came to Franklin for retail therapy. Little did we know of the heart therapy we would experience at Deer Run Inn. We would return in a heartbeat! We loved the inn and we loved the folks there. We would (and already have) recommended Deer Run to others." - S.Happe, July 2015
